Just catching up...
BG, you're finding my Rent secrets posts? Which ones do you think are mine?
I got in trouble in Driver's Ed because I was always reading.
In high school, I would read book instead of paying attention to Economics. I also studied for that class by reading once through the definitions on the side of the pages in the book. About 5 minutes before each test. I got A's in that class... I miss high school.
Same here Mel. I'm sick of all the high school drama.

So. Am. I.
Last night and today have just been way too dramatic.

*gasps* Mel, your avatar!
I found that University had less drama, or I just stopped caring about the drama, but a hell of a lot more work, but then again more freedom.
Sadly, high school drama turns into college drama which turns into life drama. Amazingly it's all quite similar and equally sucky.
I'm just bored of the people in my town. My mom said if I got in, I can go to NYU. I really want to go there.
I would love to spend a summer in NYC just enjoying life. It'd be so much better than my boring life here. Just to experience lots of different kids of people, etc. I get tired of same-ness.

There were 1 or 2 in the Inappropo discussion that I thought might be you (they had to be from a BWWer, but weren't the same writing style as the Em ones they were right next to), and then that one towards the very end of the huge Adam thread with a rather sarcastic take on the right to discuss rumors that came out of thin air that nearly made me fall out of my chair laughing.
Sometimes, I almost miss high school drama. It could be entertaining if I wasn't directly involved.
I'm involved in a lot of drama in my school..its uh.. fun.
Which reminds me, I'm going right now to research internships.
How is NYU's psychology department, does anyone know? I'm emailing one of the professors to see if she's taking students this summer. And professors at other schools too, obviously.
Yup, those were probably me. The Adam one was entirely too much fun for me
I have so many things now that I want to say to the people who caused all the high school drama, but there really isn't any high school drama anymore. So I sit and stew, and wait. I have issues with grudges.

CS, you just described my situation perfectly. I think I actually like confrontation. A lot more than "the calm before the storm". Or after, whichever.

My first double post in a whole...day. Whoo-hoo.
I never seem to be involved with High School drama. But in the very few cases I am, I worry to much about the fact that involved in the situation than trying to fix it. Not good
I have learned that lots of time it's easier to hang out with guys - way less drama! I have a couple good female friends but a lot of the time I feel like girls create 99.9% of the drama whereas guys let things roll off their back. If I say something stupid to a guy friend, they'll just tell me to shut up. If I say something stupid to girls I find that it often causes lots of trouble!
Of course, I'm guilty of the same problem. :)
JL, you've just perfectly described why even though I went to a high school that was 75% female, my best friend and the one I keep in touch with the most is male. I've found that guys can be bitchy too, but they're more up-front about their feelings when something pisses them off.
I get myself into the worst situations.. ones I won't even talk about. I'm just generally not smart in life. But I come off really smart on the internet, dont I? *is proud*
Ack! 75% female? I think I would have gone insane.
I found that the problem now is the girls have grown up and the guys haven't. My high school guy friends are idiots. I haven't even told any of them that I'm home.
