My best friend's mom is completely crazy. I mean, finding underwear in the parking lot and running around with it on your head crazy. Driving around the neighborhood twice to bark at a random kid from our school who was walking his dogs around, and then trying to get his phone number to bark at him some more. Not letting her daughter go to detention in the morning because she thought she would go too fast, and when she promised that she wouldn't go to detention, she still wouldn't let her drive to school. She is definitely interesting. But despite her craziness, her three daughters are some of the most polite, sweet and hard working people you will ever meet.
Anyway, it makes my family feel more normal when I think of her.

I don't think we have any here. And I don't like cheese.
haha...JL
the pretzel ones don't have cheese in them..they are just pretzels, but shaped like little fishies
Well, that's intriguing. I love pretzels. But I've never seen them before.
Grr. Cheap show tickets, sporks, now pretzel goldfish. I'm so deprived.
I like Goldfish crackers, (especially cheddar and original) but I have to refer to them as crackers, because I don't want to scare Sparky.
Mmmm Goldfish pretzels :)
Im eating the original Goldfish cheddar crackers
Aww, Snowbird, I'm sure there are plenty of Canadian snacks that you have but we don't
Doesn't Canada have that donut place they're always bragging about? Hortons or something?

I'm reading through the whole "Just For The Record" Thread and one of the questions asked by Jose was:
Does Adam Pascal really deserve a "love thread" in three parts?
Of COURSE he does! =D

Mmmm, Tim Horton's. AKA Timmy Ho's.
CS, I can get the pretzel Goldfish around here! I don't though, because the cheddar ones are MUCH better.
Tim Horton's!!! I love their donuts, we have one on campus and it's always so tempting.
And Smarties. I don't think there are Smarties in the States.

Goldfish are good but Cheezits are better. I could eat a box of those a day, I swear.
CheezITS though...not Cheese NIPS. Cheese Nips are disgusting.
Haha, now that you mention it, my Canadian Internet friends are always going on about how Tim Horton's kicks Krispy Kreme's ass. Not that I particularly care, since I'm just about the only person on earth who doesn't like doughnuts.
Katt, I don't think I can associate with you anymore. Cheese Nips are the absolute best and Cheezits are garbage that don't even taste like cheese.
Stupid eBay.

NOO! You are so wrong Skittles. Cheese Nips taste like garbage. Cheezits are pretty much the best snack ever.
Oooh, random snack food related thought. Does anyone remember Dunkaroos?

My mommy still buys me Dunkaroos. I'm such a kid, I have band-aids with Disney princesses on them.
Snowbird, we have Smarties here too.
Ooh, Dunkaroos! I remember!
Aww, I'm always amused by the cartoon character band-aids they give you at the doctor's office when you get a blood test or a shot. Of course, I'll be too old to go to the pediatrician after this year, so I won't get those anymore
I don't know I saw this interview with this guy from the states and he saw Smarties and his head exploded.
And there are Timmie's in Buffalo.

I found a website that has Dunkaroos and I ordered four boxes. And I still have one at my house. They are pretty much uh-mazing.
I always remember getting Smarties as part of my Halloween candy when I went trick-or-treating and being upset that someone had dared to give out non-chocolate candy :-P
You don't have LCBO's though. Well, only Ontario has those. But we have separate stores for alcohol, I'm not sure if it's like that everywhere in the U.S. but where I've been they've alcohol is sold in the grocery stores and I found it odd.
What's an LCBO?
I'm pretty sure they sell beer at the supermarkets here, but I think you have to go to a liquor store for anything else.
CS I think that's a state by state thing, possibly even a county by county thing. In Maryland we have liquor stores with everything alcohol related and in Pennsylvania there are different licenses you need to have a beer store or a wine and liquor store. Neither state has it in grocery stores ... but in other states it's all right there for the taking. And some states have rules about selling it on Sunday, I think...
