The Cabaret Revival CR is still by far the preferred version of Cabaret to listen to. Alan Cumming is pretty unsurpassable as the Emcee. Updated On: 1/22/06 at 09:56 PM
I'm not listening to anything. Trying to do some reading, but 'tis very hard to concentrate.
I'm attempting to write an essay. Not working.
I just bought that CD yesterday, and I love it.
I'll take a break to refresh BWW after each couple of pages of Genetics reading. Needless to say, not going very quickly.
I've had this CD for a few years. I love it.
I've had the Cabaret Revival CD for years, and I rarely listened to it... yeah.
I'm trying to make myself tired so I can go to bed relatively early tonight. Probably not going to happen.
hii everyone :)--I wanted to go to sleep at 7, I've had such a long day. I reallyyyy don't want to have midterms this week

Okay, I just watched the Cabaret video I think I'd give my first born for a full video version of Adam as the Emcee- he's so amazing. I really love seeing how different actors play the role.
Oh, yeah, when they go behind the sheet, Raul definitely knows it's a man
I'm not sleeping for awhile, I'm so awake right now.
I found it yesterday cheap at a used store. And it seems pretty brand new to me, I was happy.

Like a page back- him singing If You Could See Her!
Skittles, he would know.
When I first saw it I was like...huh? Is that a dude? I remembered 2 girls when I saw it? *giggle*
It all makes sense now.

Sometimes it's hard to tell- voicewise, because the guy will try to sound like a girl, other times it's really obvious.
Well, his hair is still the same. But they do some very obvious dance moves to show it is a guy.
If you can call it a dance.
It's a satirical scene, though. You're supposed to wonder. Then when they get down to it, it's pretty obvious.
Has anyone seen a trailer for Nanny McPhee?.... So. F*cking. Weird.
I was...enlightened last night in the chat regarding Raul, and like I said, suddenly it all made sense.
Anyhow...I *really* need to write this essay. I'm going to do that now.

Hee. When I was watching Raul's Cabaret, someone mentioned that the Pineapple Song was totally written under the influence of pot.
I like the part where all the girls are dancing then you realize one of them is the Emcee. Some audience memebers are seriously shocked.
