Nothing, really. I'm just not used to having my roommate around and we don't really talk much. She was on a really bizarre sleeping schedule last semester and would come in at 3 am when I was sleeping so we never saw each other. Now, she's here and she's been here all night and it's just a bit awkward. I'm in a really small dorm, so it's just a bit claustrophobic and I'm used to having some alone time, but now I never get any.

As much as I hated her sleep habits last semester, I wish they would come back to her just so I could get some time to relax in the room by myself.

Ah, I see. My freshman roommate and I really didn't get along well and I always felt awkward when we were both in the room at the same time. She often spent the night at a friend's room after they went out partying, and I was more than fine with it.

Yea, last semester she even spent at least twice a week sleeping in someone elses room. But now, she's always here.

I can completely relate, Fantabulous. I'm the sort of person who needs a little alone time to recharge, and my roommate this year is here ALL THE TIME, in addition to already being a pretty difficult person to room with. I feel like I could live in a closet as long as I had it to myself.

How they decided that the bedroom in my freshman dorm was big enough for two people is beyond my comprehension. What made it worse was that the single bedroom in our suite was actually larger than the room I shared with my roomie-from-hell.

I am really lucky because I moved out of a double and into a single after about three weeks with a roommate. I'm one of those people who need their space, and I know I would have ended up having a nervious breakdown if I hadn't gotten my own room. That said- I live in a suit, so there is a girl who I share a bathroom and hall with and we really don't get a long at all.

Someone on my hall has a room that is basically a single that is larger than my double, plus she has a fireplace in her room!

My RAs melted a candle in my dorm room freshman year. They turned the heat on high so it would be warm in there when we came back from break. It was so warm, everything that could melt, did. So I put that candle in my room every year, and the RA's get confused during the inspections and such.

GEEZ, YOU PEOPLE POST A LOT! I just had to read through 30 pages!
I'm super impressed you guys got Emcee to reveal her postage.

I am seeing Cabaret for the first time at the end of February, and I have this totally unrealistic fantasty that, for some reason, Adam will be the Emcee. It can't be Raul because he's doing Company, so I'm hoping for Adam. :-P
