I need to rant for just a moment...
If someone has chicken in the sink thawing, and a can of green beans, box of rice, and various other spices and such for cooking...wouldn't you think "hmm, looks like someone's making dinner!" NOT "I'm going to grab fast food after working out?" (which...in itself is kind of...I dunno...pointless?)
Maybe I'm crazy...I dunno...

It just depends on where you go to school. My high school (and all the ones I know about around me) always did midterms before the break. My university does them before the break as well.
