Oh Nia, there's nothing wrong with Ohio.. Cept the snow and the rain.. there's even a song about it..

It's boring, Cam... or at least my suburb is.
We actually tend to get droughts in the summer.

... or you could be in North Dakota, like me! Haha.
I got a parking ticket today. Oh well. It's so nice to have this period off!

You live in North Dakota? Wow.
You do get to move to New York in a few months, though, so I can't feel too bad for you.

Posted: 1/18/06 at 1:13pmAt least you guys are all kinda close to NY, unlike me. Lucky.

I feel your pain Nia.. I think to a certain extent everyone's home town is boring to them.. It just gives you more drive to get out of there..
If you could go/be anywhere Nia, where would you choose?

Hey, guys!
You can feel bad for me if you want, Nia.
Just kidding. I like it here, most of the time!
Has anyone read the play Equus? I finished it last night. Whoa. That's all I have to say about it. VERY fascinating, and a bit disturbing, but definitely one I'd love to see.

Allie, maybe I could read it once I've lost my laptop and I lack things to do.
Cam, I'd go to New York in a second, but it's not an option until grad school at the very earliest. Dance, where are you from? Princess, do you like Louisiana?

What corner of the world are you hiding in Moonlite??
NYC! Of course.. Grad school is a ways off though.. I'm trying to remember what suburb you are in..

I don't like to post my exact location. If I've told you somewhere along the line, don't say on the boards, ok? I trust you guys, but I'm not comfortable putting it where anyone can see.

Sometimes I love it, sometimes I just can't wait to leave. I live in Baton Rouge, which is about 45 minutes north of New Orleans. Baton Rouge is pretty big, but it can get really boring, and sometimes it sucks that it doesn't have as much to do as if you went to a city like Houston, or even New Orleans [which I LOVE and really miss]. I love the food in Louisiana. LSU football is a huge deal here, and the games are always fun to go to. I like our weather most of the time too, except today stinks because its in the 30s.

Nia I would never disclose that information.. If you notice I didn't even post the non suburb..
It's smart to maintain some annonymity..
Aww New Orleans.. Makes me think of my ex.. He hated that place.. He grew up there..

Randy Harrison starred in a production of it at Bershire Theatre this past summer. I'll admit that's how I first heard of the play. I'm glad I picked it up!
I just PM'ed my fellow Haligonian.

Posted: 1/18/06 at 1:53pmYeah, my friend saw the production in the Berkshires. She looooves Randy Harrison.

Posted: 1/18/06 at 1:54pmHe was bored with it.. It's one of those situations where you spend all your life somewhere and you can't stand it anymore. He hates to go back for even a few days to visit family..

Posted: 1/18/06 at 1:57pmOh, wow! I looooove Randy Harrison, too. That's so cool. It seems like the sort of play my school from last year would put on. I'm definitely going to drop some hints to a friend about it. They have the perfect space for it.

She said he was incredible, to her surprise!
I met the guy who designed the set for the production -- it sounded like an AMAZING set.
