Yeah, I think we'd probably get stoned to death if we tried to rewrite JCS with Jesus/Judas sexual tension. Freddie and Anatoly, on the other hand... Florence, pssh.
I don't get *why* Adam doesn't like it, though. An aversion to most musical theatre? It seems like it should be totally his thing, with the more rock-influenced score.

I don't think Adam likes ALW in general.
As far as the OSG memory problem goes, I bet he learned it wrong in the first place, got an incorrect version in his head and now has those circuits permanently crossed.

Even with hating ALW, though, JCS isn't like... Phantom of the Opera or something. He NEEDS to record "Heaven On Their Minds."
But of course, Amber.
Edit: That's horrible, Sarah. It's a virus, you said?

Stoned to death? Please. God himself would smite you first.
*makes room in ICU for Chloe* Feel better!
*hugs Sarah* Good luck with your computer! We'll miss you.

When was the last time Adam discussed his aversion to JCS? I'm just curious because he did mention how he tried to avoid/get away from musical theatres for years but now he's grown up--so I'm curious how recent it is he said that. Not that I'm saying it means if it was not too recent he would definitely do it, but maybe at one point he wouldn't be totally against it.
Then again, I suppose it wouldn't make much difference if it was an overall aversion to Webber musicals.

I get to go home tomorrow morning...YAY! I guess I should get my stuff together? Nah
Also, if my roommate reads me one more "warning" email about gangs, rapists, whatever, I might hurt her. She gets SO worked up about it...chill...don't be stupid...its not difficult. They're usually full of crap anyways...

I realized I never actually talked about my peanut butter chocolate cups from last night. Basically, they looked like a 1st graders art project, but they taste good!
Everyone (and their computers) needs to get well...it's Spring...the season of life :)

True. Might still be worth it, though. *mentally weighs pros and cons*
I hope it's fixed soooon, Sarah!

Here's what Adam said back in 2000 during a Broadway.com Q&A:
I am a 16-year-old aspiring actor who has seen you in both Rent and Aida (I saw it three times) When you are done in Aida I think that you should go out for Jesus Christ Superstar. You would be an amazing Judas. I went to see it and I could picture you as the part. -Steve
Adam responds:
Maybe you could picture me because the guy playing Judas looks exactly like me! I don't know what to say to that. I don't like that musical. It's nothing I would ever want to do.

I think it's just that there probably aren't that many actors out there with that particular type of voice, and Adam has the voice that's perfect for it. And there aren't many parts written for voices like his (clearly). It would just be a nice match.
Edit: Eek, I just thought of the scary (but probably very real) possibility of Jesus/Judas slash.

Regarding ALW: Adam likes Phantom, actually, but didn't like the movie. I'm not sure how he feels about the rest of ALW, though.
Mandi... is nothing sacred (literally!)?!
ETA: Ok, apparently Chloe answered WRQ's question before me. Nevermind.
