Roger sang open road in the NYTW production. And I defidently like Anthony singing it more that Tony Hoylen.

When Anthony sang it for the anniversary, that was the first time I'd heard the whole song. Whenever I'd listened to the NYTW version, I'd always end up changing the song in the middle because Tony Hoylen was just...painful.
I'm eating ice cream for dinner. I tried to eat normal food, but it made me nauseous. I loathe being female sometimes.

I have What I Did for Love on repeat.

Well, opiv, that's because Anthony > Everyone else.

*jealous of Sound of Music reference in Cortland*
And I still wanna hear him sing Edelweiss!
Eh, I don't think needing the words is as bad as it just is amusing. I guess...if there's a song you know really well, that you sing over and over...like with me, every so often I won't be paying attention to the words of the song in my mind, and I'll end up skipping a verse or something.
But again, in typical Adam fashion, he doesn't try to hide or deny reading the lyrics, even acknowledged it with the funny face. I respect that.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

It's not really easy to hide.....
And, honestly, as funny as it is, he should know those lyrics.

He's obviously lost a lot of brain cells due to that pot addiction.

Obviously Mandi(that Anthony's better, not the pot addiction)

It is TRAGIC that Adam hates Jesus Christ Superstar.

AMEN. I promise I'll stop dwelling on it, but I cannot think of a better choice for Judas. Ever. Period. Even my parents, upon hearing his voice, came up with that suggestion out of thin air.
I'm not making excuses for Adam, because frankly, he should know the words, but perhaps it's his one song he can't remember? I have songs like that -- no matter how many times I play them, I simply cannot get the lyrics straight. He certainly picked a poor choice of a song to struggle with, though!

It was pretty amusing though. And his clown shoes made it even funnier.

I agree, Lexi. I was listening to Judas's songs and was like, "ADAM!!" I can just HEAR him singing them. He's be phenominal.

I'd love to see him in JCS. He'd be amazing.
Glory is one of those songs that is hard to memorize, at least for me. The melody is very simple and repeats so many times, it's easy to switch verses.

Judas gets to scream/sing so much. It reminds me of Freddie.
Why did Murray Head originate all the roles Adam should play? It all comes back to that freak, I swear.

I've also always thought Adam should do Judas...
However if it came down to it...
He should do Freddie more

I'd certainly agree with that. Chess is the superior musical, anyway. Judas is a better character, but... Chess is my baby.
Plus, Ashley and I have plans to rewrite the Chess book, complete with more Freddie/Anatoly sexual tension that could ever occur in JCS (yes, despite the kiss).

That sounds promising.

Yeah, I think we'd probably get stoned to death if we tried to rewrite JCS with Jesus/Judas sexual tension. Freddie and Anatoly, on the other hand... Florence, pssh.
I don't get *why* Adam doesn't like it, though. An aversion to most musical theatre? It seems like it should be totally his thing, with the more rock-influenced score.

I'm guessing this will have Raul cast as Anatoly, right?
