That's so cute.

Everyone cross they're fingers that I, or someone who is playing for me, wins.

It's the same leg that's been bothering him on and off for months, and nobody knows what's wrong with it. It's really unfortunate, because I was going to take him to a clinic with this former Olympic rider. I took him to a clinic with this person before, and he LOVED him, and I would have loved to do it again. But it's okay. If we can just get this problem fixed I'll be happy.

Lexi, you totally have to comment totally gushing over it on LJ.

Hee. It's so, so bad, but at the same time I love it.

Good luck, Bohemian! I hope things get worked out with your horse, Katt.

I just visited Cybele's blog (checking it makes me feel like a stalker, I swear) and apparently, they're moving to California on Tuesday.

I thought everyone would like to know.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

TUESDAY?! That's, that's...tomorrow. Isn't that kind of a quick turn around?

Wow. Well, good luck Adam!

Well, someone's in a bit of a rush to get out of here!

They couldn't wait until like, 24 hours after the Benefit?

So, everyone going to the benefit must smoosh Adam and give him some big hugs from the Love Thread.

*sniffle*

I recognize the addiction to being alive.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

I'm not sure if I'm going myself, since I still feel like I'm on a boat while I'm on land, but a few people are entering for me.

And good luck!

So you're definitely trying the lottery, Em?

They must have been ready to move to a while and the concert is the last planned thing on his agenda.

I still can't get over how he's not going to fit in with Cali culture.

That's really last minute.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

Actually, the plans probably aren't last minute. They probably planned their move for the day after the concert a while ago.

On a happier note, she mentioned that she might have a cooking show in the future on the Food Network. Perhaps that's part of the move as well, although I have no idea where those shows are generally filmed.

Adam moving re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

I would *love* to hug him on behalf of the Adam thread, but I don't know how he woudl feel about that, seeing as I've met him twice. Maybe I can tell him that a bunch of cute high school/college girls wanted to hug him goodbye by proxy.

I'm so nervous about tonight. I shouldn't be, but this is...huge. And it could go perfectly (I don't have too much of an idealized situation, but there are things that could be seriously disappointing) or I dunno. I'm worried about stupid stuff I have no control over, which is the worst part for a control freak like me, but finding counter plans in case something goes wrong helps me cope, so I just have to sort things out in my head.

It was great meeting you yesterday, Bohemian! Good luck this afternoon! I kind of want to go down there to check out the lotto situation (morbid curiosity about how crazy it will be) but we'll see if I have the energy to go downtown. Or, you know, even get dressed and eat something. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

*tackles* It was great meeting you too! I had a really good time. Let me know if you decide to come down. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

Don't be nervous. You're going to have an amazing time. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

Everyone going for the lotto/benefit tonight...have a blast...good luck...bring us lost souls thousands of miles away good stories!

The thought of Cybele having a cooking show makes me quite happy...she did so well the other day on Martha (better than Martha actually...)

In celebrating Rent's 10th, I read through a few original reviews...from the NY Times (the NYTW run):

"The cast, however, is terrific, right down to the last ensemble member, and blessed with voices of remarkable flexibility and strength. The unflaggingly focused Mr. Rapp gives the show its energetic motor; the golden-voiced Mr. Pascal its meditative soul and Ms. Rubin-Vega its affirmative sensuality. Mr. Martin, Ms. Walker, Mr. Heredia and Ms. Menzel are all performers of both wit and emotional conviction.

It is the latter trait that lifts "Rent" well above the synthetic, cleverly packaged herd of Broadway musical revivals and revues. Along with George C. Wolfe and Savion Glover's "Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk," this show restores spontaneity and depth of feeling to a discipline that sorely needs them. People who complain about the demise of the American musical have simply been looking in the wrong places. Well done, Mr. Larson."

Wow, I err...wow. (Adam moving). I'll...hope I can hug him, but I myself don't initiate hugs so...yeah. Would it be weird to say I'll/we'll miss you?

Skittles, what are you worried/nervous about? (Err, only if you want to share).
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

That's really cool about Cybele potentially having a cooking show. I'm somewhat addicted to the Food Network, so Cybele doing a show for them would be awesome.

Cybele's so cute! I could totally see her with her own cooking show... that would be great for them.

Those of you who are going tonight, have an AMAZING time. And best of luck to you guys who are trying the lottery! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine
