re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

Hi Chloe! I don't think there's too much to catch up on. I found a few older songs from Adam a couple days ago, but the quality isn't the best and the songs themselves aren't that good. Regardless, I can send them your way if you'd like.

Show us, Mandi.

Hi, Hi, Hi! I'm a little bouncy right now. Just got back from the Rent tour in Wilmington ... they did a really nice job. A few bobbles here and there and an Angel understudy who nearly missed the table, but all in all I was pretty impressed. We had my friend's kid with us so we got some pictures and autographs afterwards. Kids trump all the fangirls. Woohoo! :)

Total change of subject, but I just saw that someone mentioned on the Adam LJ that she was going to ask Adam if he remembers "Thrill of the Chase" when he tours in the fall.

I would totally kill to see Adam's reaction to that.

That fanart is, uh, explicit. And her LJ icon is pretty risque too.

"she was going to ask Adam if he remembers "Thrill of the Chase" when he tours in the fall."

Isn't that a Mute song? Is there a story behind it?

I just listened to a whole bunch of Mute songs (Wine & Vision is the album, right?) the other day and they're awesome! Adam sounds so...young. ^_^

Thrill of the Chase is a Wine & Vision song. I'm not sure if W&V was a sideproject band of his or the name Mute went by for a while. To my knowledge, they released one demo with four songs on it. I think it's from 1990 (Chloe, correct me if I'm wrong).

There's no real story behind it other than some of us find it humorous. The lyrics are totally sophomoric, but in an endearing way, if that makes any sense.

Mute was Adam's old band with almost the same lineup as W&V. They released one album overseas with eight songs in 1994. I think there are a couple demo songs floating around by them as well.

See, this is why I'm anal about my MP3 tags. :P

>_<

I was told that Wine & Vision was the "album" that Mute "made." Gar, now to raid iTunes and change the song info...

I have a bunch of random Adam/Mute/Wine & Vision songs in that case...does anyone have a list of which songs were from which band?
