Nope...thus the confusion. Adam, because I know you're reading, clear this all up!

No, Mute only released a self-titled album.
Judging by my iTunes...
Mute album (1994):
1 Nothing Like Me
2 Too Close to the Flame
3 Beneath a Velvet Sky
4 Magenta
5 Who's to Blame?
6 Divine
7 More
8 Balls Etc....
I also have two songs that I believe are Mute demos, entitled "Mute" and "Inevitable."
Wine & Vision demo (1990):
1 Your White Horse Charm
2 Lend Me Your Hand
3 Thrill of the Chase
4 Remember My Name
I wonder if Adam knows that he has fans that still circulate his old music around.
Eek. Check out the fanarts girl's name. *hides*
"Thrill of the Chase" is cute! It would be cool to see if he remembers.
Siamese - Thank you very much! That definitely helps.
Heh, I, too, am very anal about iTunes and naming things properly. For example, my guitar teacher burned me a Rufus Wainwright mp3 CD that didn't have the actual song names. I made him give me a list of the songs that were on it.
ETA: I have two untitled songs as well that I can't quite place. One is a bluesy jam and the other is like an acoustic "jungle" rhythm thing (think "Four Sticks" by Led Zeppelin). If someone has any idea what those songs could be called, I'd appreciate it. Even if they aren't the real names, I just need track names.

Is that her in the banner thing at the top of her LJ? She looks ENTIRELY too young to be drawing such things.
Right, W&V was 1990, and from what I can gather from a page about one of the former members, was actually the name of the band at that time.
The Mute CD has these songs on it:
Nothing Like Me
Too Close to the Flame
Beneath a Velvet Sky
Magenta
Who's to Blame
Divine
More
Balls Etc...
Wine & Vision contains these four:
Your White Horse Charm
Lend Me Your Hand
The Thrill of the Chase
Remember My Name
You can hear them at Adam Pascal Online under Adam/Discography/Bands.

I just find it funny that Adam, at like, 19-20 years old, was lamenting how he didn't know what girls wanted in a man. AWWWW.
No problem, guitargeek.
ETA: That makes sense, Chloe -- they probably started off calling themselves Wine & Vision and later changed it to Mute. I think W&V is kind of a cool name, though.

Lexi beat me to it on the song listings, but I hope the AP Online info will be helpful, because it's hard to find those songs on her site.

Can you upload them and post the links on this thread? I'd probably be able to recognize them, but I'd actually have to hear the songs.
Not necessarily related to this, but there's a live cover of Day Tripper (originally by the Beatles) circulating which is titled "Unnamed" or something similiar. I mean, come on, how do you not recognize the Beatles? :P Someone on Adam's LJ community said it was a W&V song...
I'm sure you've already talked about this, but I just caught up with Rentsecrets from last Friday. Someone actually thought Daphne meant she had an affair with Anthony from what she said on her podcast?
I hate to ask this, but, Lexi, would you mind uploading the Mute demos?

Actually, I'm not sure if we have discussed it. Someone apparently didn't listen to the question too closely, caught a few words, and ran with it. I think Anthony had a boyfriend during the early years of Rent, too.
I had completely forgotten about Rentsecrets until you mentioned that, Chloe. Holy crap, people are stupid.

No problem, Krissy! I actually just finished uploading them for Chloe.
Inevitable: http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=01WK8NV9CVJ5A02FX7P5O32651
Mute: http://download.yousendit.com/5971071A1629BF0A
They're low quality -- it's pretty hard to make out the words.

Those are the two songs.
Thanks, Lexi!

Guitargeek -- the first one is Hawkmoon 269 (U2 Cover) and the second is Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' (Journey -- yuck! -- cover). Updated On: 5/1/06 at 12:00 AM
Heh. Thanks! Now I can finally get some sleep. Dentist appointment early in the morning, ick.
'Night, all!
ETA (again): Oh, and are those by W&V?

'Night, guitargeek!
Awww, poor guitargeek. I hate going to the dentist.
I should probably go to bed soon - tomorrow is my last day of classes before finals, and I have to give a presentation in my 8 AM class as part of the Group Project From Hell.
If anyone has a problem with the Mute download coming up as a text file, as I did, just delete the txt from the end. Maybe everyone already knows to do that, but it took me a few moments to figure out.
ETA: I'm really tired - good night!
