Eh, it's ok. I'll probably find it somewhere.

I totally believed he was sweetest guy EVER. There were many awww-inducing moments. There were also many giggle-inducing moments, but Adam didn't write the show, so he's not entirely to blame!

I might have seen a link on IMDb or LJ.

Does anyone happen to have the link to that photographer's site with all the beautiful Aida photos saved? I had it in my favorites, but it was deleted with the death of my computer. I thought that man did some truly wonderful work. It's also fun to laugh at the poster of Model Prisoner in the background of Adam's dressing room/makeup room/whatever it is.
Atrias, if you're familiar with torrents, I believe you can find the episode by searching with either of the isohunt or torrentspy websites. Despite the camp factor, I thought Adam did a nice job considering the material he was given. The "I almost threw away my life for you" (or something to that extent) line got to me a bit.

Thanks!
I finally figured out how to download video files from YouTube and convert them to a standard video format, such as MPEG or AVI. Clearly, I need a life, but I'm having a ball downloading performances. I already have the source of many of the Adam/Rent-related YouTube clips, but I'd have no idea where to find some of the others I'm finding from my favorite singers and other Broadway performers.
However, I downloaded some of the clips from Adam's recent tour and joined them together to make one video file. It's like watching a choppy concert! Both the sound and video quality aren't bad considering they were probably taken with a digital camera's video function. I'm uploading the file now if any of you are interested.

Lexi, I'm interested in hearing how to download videos from YouTube (and in the concert file, of course).

Lexi, I'm sure you've already answered this 1000 times, but I don't have time to read back. Who's that picture of? I can't place her...

Lexi, can you send me the file once you upload it? I'm also curious about how to download videos from youtube.

I'll post the file on here. It's nothing special, but I'm just happy I figured out how to do it.
To download files off YouTube, use this website:
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
And download an FLV player (it's free, Google it). Converting them to standard video format is another story.

Here's the link. Again, it's all the BU YouTube concert video joined together. The quality is good.

Really, it's nothing interesting at all -- more of something I was testing my video editing "skills" with more than anything else. I don't actually expect anyone to have any interest in it, but I wanted to share it just in case.
I hope everyone can find some use for the YouTube instructions, although they're not terribly complex.

I see how it is...you all talk once I'm gone
Just kidding...although good news...tonight I saw a fantastic production of Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte! While its not my favorite opera (or even favorite Mozart) by any means, I really enjoyed it
To sleep...tomorrow morning and afternoon I get to observe a high school choir...woot.

I'm back. Well, I've been back, but I'm posting now. Hee. I can't believe I got more mentions than Adam himself on the past few pages!
I'm tired now, but I'll definitely write up the whole thing tomorrow for people. They didn't have a formal meet and greet, but I lurked around the parking lot, talking to Emcee until he came out, so I did still get to meet him face to face again. Briefly because I was kind of holding back and letting other people go first. No pics with him because my camera batteries died, but I have a few of the show that I'll upload tomorrow. Um, that's about it for now, I have to wake up at 7am tomorrow. Night all!

Em :-P
Pictures!
They're giant, so I'm posting them as links one at a time, so bear with me. Oh, and some of them are blurry because I wasn't using the flash at first because I was following the rules but then I gave up and started using my flash like everyone else.
