Great review, skittles. I'm cracking up at the Sound of Music thing.

Yesterday, I saw this billboard of a nun, and you couldn't see her face. I totally pictured Nun!Adam.

Oh, I did freak out!
Lexi, I felt bad about interrupting him, but someone made some comment like "And you thought you were going to get some alone time!" and he said "Nah, it's okay." At first, he had his unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth as he signed stuff, but when people started wanting pictures, he put it behind his ear.
I think it really was that he didn't have time to sign stuff before he left. He's performing at GMU tonight down in VA. That's like a 8-9 hour drive. And he'd have to be there early enough for sound check and everything. Making him stay there until 11pm or whatever it took to sign stuff for 250 people would have probably been too much and too exhausting.
Oh, and the girl that made him his sandwich worked at like a restaurant or at the school or something, so they provided lunch for Adam and his posse. It wasn't something as creepy as finger sandwiches, but I don't know why she kept going on and on about it.

Ahh, skittles so you were sitting by those drama kids. My friends and I (also drama kids) were definitely...amused (?) by that.
I was much farther back b/c my friends don't know how to be early for anything.
And yes, "The Sound Of Music" was hilarious. I nearly passed out right then and there b/c I was in such shock.

I can not believe he did that.
My poster that he signed on Tuesday keeps falling off the wall.

downtowndiva, we were in the 5th? row I think? In the center. We went into the building at like 6:30 or something and they let us in at 7pm. It was weird though, at like 7:25, people came in and walked straight up to the first row looking for seats. It's like, clearly if rows 2-25 are packed, there's a specific reason there were empty seats in the front row. Not to mention the fact that they announced that the first row was for people working there.

skittles, I saw a LOT of people who seemed to think they could sit in the front row. People are silly.
We were like 10th or 11th row center. And WE had talkers behind us too! You can hear them on my audio, it's REALLY annoying. They talked throughout EVERY song except "Glory". They screamed through that.
Ok, I lost the instructions to my iriver and I can't figure this out. Frustration! *slams head on desk*

Ulgh...why do people go to concerts, shows, etc. if all they're gonna do is talk so they hear themselves talk? Save the trip/money, and more importantly, don't spoil it for those of us who actually wanna hear the performer.
Same with singing along with Glory...I mean you have an amazing oppertunity to hear the original performer perform it, and you're gonna sing along, another thing you have probably done many times throughout your life?
My selective attention is getting worse. Maybe I should buy earplugs...
Well, on a brighter note, my spring break just started too!

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that they sang during some of "Glory"...until I turned around and gave them the death stare.
I completely agree, wickedrentq. Also, the screaming bothered me because it was a small acoustic show. The show had a very intimate feel, so I didn't get why people wanted to scream hysterically. I mean, this wasn't N Sync at Madison Square Garden.
Everyone screamed every time he hit a high note and/or sustained a note for a really long time. Which kills me, because, personally I really wanted to hear the note NOT people screaming. One of my friends was screaming at one point too. Maybe I'm just an old woman when it comes to these things.
Congrats on spring break! Mine doesn't start til wednesday..

Oh, I was just giving you a hard time, skittles!
I'm sure he didn't mind. You're also probably right about the travel times. I have no idea as to how far cities actually are from each other on the east coast.
I'm STILL freaking out about the Sound of Music. The only other possible explanation I can think of as to why he'd sing that is if the aforementioned restaurant girl slipped a "special brownie" into his lunch.
How utterly random!

I think the Sound of Music Maria was mentioned on an Adam thread on the main board, too... maybe he just read that? *hopes*

OK, i came into this thread late in the game... the nun!adam thing... I remember seeing that picture forever ago, but refresh my memory. Was there more to the story other than that picture?
And I would nearly kill to hear him sing that line from S.O.M., that's hilarious!

SD thought that he meant Maria from The Sound of Music. That's all!
I think it's more likely that the story made its way to him than that he reads the thread.
