I agree with Jessica.

Have fun, Shiksa! I trust that you'll give us a full report. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

*jaw drops*

Just kidding...it's a Mexican fried pastry traditionally served with cinnamon and sugar, or honey. Ever had a beignet? Pretty similar concept...

I've never heard the word beignet either. It sounds good. I'm looking forward to seeing the picture.

I think many cultures have their forms of sweet fried dough - zeppoles, sopapillos, beignets, churros, whatever. You might say that, in English-speaking countries, we call them doughnuts. *shrugs*

Isn't it the norm to do the same set/show in different stops of a tour? That's what I always thought, but I'm really not sure.

It really depends on the singer. Yes, many singers use the same set list, but I think a good percentage of them also throw in some variation.

Oy, poor SG. That's just the worst.

I was in the elevator and he told me he thought the buzzer was "HOTTT" and then proceeded to push the buzzer button and rub his, err... JEANS.

Again, next time they'll be much better just from experience. But I'm quite satisfied with the way these turned out...displayed in several forms (and shapes, as a personal experiment): plain, cinnamon and sugar, with honey re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

Oy, elevator guy sounds like the creep who hit on me in Tower Records last week.

Amber, those look really good.

EDIT: Okay, you know it's time to go to bed when you are spending your free time typing in random things into an English-Spanish translater that you would NEVER say to a certain Spanish speaking actor *shifty eyes towards avatar*.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

I just got in from the Adam show in Fairfax, Va. He was so great. I was point person for the night so I pretty much ran up and down the stairs getting whatever he needed. But by the end of the night it was all worth it. He loved the school, I made fun of his "get away car" (dodge mini van), and I got a kiss on the cheek and a "Thanks sweetie" before I got my hug.

After months of planning, weeks of nonstop promotion, and days of worring that it may not work out like I'd hoped, it all turned out amazing. He was such a blessing to work with and was the nicest performer I've ever worked with since being on Program Board. I'll post a review of the concert later tomorrow, with pictures.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

I had a dream about Adam last night; basically the "I meant to...." dream about Tuesday. heh. I went up to him and shook his hand, and said that I don't believe I'd ever in all these years properly introduced myself, so my name was....

But now I'm awake and dreams are just not real.

Glad it went well, Wickedly.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part nine

I'm checking IMDB (I know, I told myself that I wouldn't, but I'm weak) and someone posted a story about meeting Adam before the show at Cortland. Apparently, girls who didn't even know his name were literally "jumping on top of him."

People are crazy. I swear I've heard of people doing that before with him... ?

Although, the story had a happy ending... the person writing it apparently patiently waited until he was done signing autographs and taking photos with the crazy girls and had a couple minute long conversation with her.
