*clutches wrist and reminsces*
They brought up his kids? That's awkward. I mean, I know what they look like and they exist and all and working in a child care center, probably have much more things to comment on than "he looks like my cousin" but I wouldn't bring it up to him at a meet and greet because it seems really invasive. Like, I don't know, using their Christmas picture as your LJ icon!?
I have the same allergies as Lennon...
but there's NO WAY to bring that into conversation without being really awkward.

Skittles, I brought that up on the thread (I'm horrible -- I deleted my IMDB account with intentions of never posting there again, but look what happened!). It's great that he sounded sweet, but I asked her if he wondered where she saw photos of his children.
Thanks, Lexi, I'll go look. Adam's previous choices in necklaces have been pretty cool, so I think this one must have some special association.
Are talking in general Emcee, or has there been some particularly scary incident lately?
ETA: Just saw your update, Lexi. I don't have an LJ account though. There have been a couple of pictures of Lennon on Broadway.com or a similar site, I think, when they brought him with them to some event, so it's not like that Christmas picture is the only one online. I don't think Adam would be all that surprised at someone seeing a picture somewhere.

There's an incident that reminds me of the general scary factor.
He probably knows that Cybele posted pictures of the boys, no?

You're right, Chloe. I still think he might be taken aback by someone actually bringing it up, though. Like Em said, although it's quite public information that one of his suns suffers from severe allergies, it still seems a bit awkward to actually bring it up to Adam.
Although, Adam seems like a pretty easy-going guy, so who knows?

Chloe, I think I remember what you're talking about, but those pictures of Lennon were when he was a baby. Like, as a newborn, so I doubt that's it.
She was posting on IMDB and the links to Cybele's blogspot have been posted there as well. I don't think it's weird that she saw pictures of them, I think it's weird that she brought it up when she met him.
Can you imagine, though? Like "OMG ADAM HI!! BY THE WAY!! I'M ALLERGIC TO MILK TOO!!!"
... not that I talk to him like that.

When someone asked for the link to her blog on IMDB, I just wanted to say, "Dear God, PLEASE have no one post it." I've brought this up on here before, but there's already someone commenting as "Mimi." Ugh.
ETA: Yeah, exactly, Em. I would just imagine that it would be so awkward.

On her blog?
I wouldn't bring it up myself either, but he seems to have been happy to talk about his kids with someone, though it might just have been out of relief that she wasn't screaming and calling him Roger. Here's what she actually wrote:
he kinda stayed in place and looked at me, my brain was screaming to tell him how much I loved and admired him but what do I do?! I tell him his oldest son looks exactly like my nephew lmao I know its stupid but I think it might've actually turned out to be a good thing because for almost 2 minutes he stayed with me and really talked to me, I mean didnt just smile and say thank you. Granted we talked about kids and how much they're obsessed with spider man

Who isn't obsessed with Spiderman is a better question...seriously...so good...

Yes, Em. I should have clarified -- she's not commenting as the character of Mimi, but just using the name. Frankly, I still find it bizarre.
Chloe, I think it says something that he's able to hold a normal conversation, even after the other person brings up something that kind of lends itself to awkward discussion. I'm still happy that the girl had a good experience with him, but I can't put the thought out of my mind that it's still a bit strange.
It just makes me feel so weird when people bring up his kids.
Every 4 year old boy loves Spiderman. I made 3 Spiderman face masks last week. You wouldn't believe the arguments they get into about which unlucky kid has to play Doc Ock.
Well, she indicates she had no intention of bringing them up and thought it was stupid, but just blurted it out because she couldn't bring herself to say what she really wanted to.
I hope that doesn't mean that one day, I'll blurt out something about Adam's chest hair, even though I don't mean to.
Ha, I really doubt it. You would just clam up, which is probably preferable!

But it would be rather hilarious, I won't lie!
I tend to go with the nod, stare and grin like a fool approach.
For example:
"So how are you?"
"I'm....*nod... smile.... nod... nod...... nod.....*"
"Oh, good!"
".... quite good!"
I'll just stare AT his chest hair.

He's so nice to us fans by keeping the top couple buttons open.
Maybe he took some Raul lessons.
Someone writing about the show last night said Adam told a story about how he couldn't hit the ball when he tried to play baseball with Jesse.

HA! We need details of this story methinks...
There's nothing worse than staring at a long to do list, and not only not wanting to do it, but bordering not caring that you don't do it...
I hate April...too much to do...
