Not me, I haven't been sick since January.
Skittles, I've been guilty of it too. I admit I heard Rosario's Mimi before Daphne's, and I liked Rosario more. But the more I listened to Daphne, the more I liked her. What I was trying to say before was that some people won't let their opinions be changed about a person's voice.

Okay, more random stuff on the subject of Rent. I've been on random old Rent websites today, and here is a review from someone who waited on the line and saw Daphne's last show.

And Idina's:

The review of Adam and Fredi's final show is barely in English.

Heh, you get the gist of it though, even though it's not a a review so much as recapping the loudness. It was apparently INSANE.

Yeah, that all makes NO SENSE.

I definitely need to find that tape.
Apparently there was a lot of screaming. That's all I got from it.
You probably wouldn't hear a thing besides screaming, Katt.

Complete sentences are our friends. That's all I have to say...

True, but I want to hear it anyway. :P
Here's some more random things from another site, from someone who'd been to Daphne's last and the aniversary of Jonathan's death (also not in complete sentences):
jan 25, 1997... daphne sobbing so hard during 'goodbye love' that you could barely understand what she was trying to say... and anthony trying at least 3 times to get the phone back on the hook before 'halloween'
daphne's last - watching adam physically incapable of picking up the guitar to start 'your eyes' because his whole body was trembling... idina choking on tears as she uttered her final lines... the most incredible show i'd ever seen. no one knew what to do... it was the beginning of the end and everyone could feel it crumbling...

I read about five lines from the Adam/Fredi's last and wow... lots of b4 and other annoying AIM speak. I gave up.
If I had the choice, I think I would rather see Daphne's last in terms of seeing Adam react than to see Adam's last.

Agreed Fantab
I love Euan.

Adam definitely seemed the most upset about it from the things I've read, although everyone else was very upset also.

, I'm trying to upload this different pic. It's sooo pretty, but it's not working.
ETA: I did it! Everyone needs to click on it, because it looks so much better bigger.

It's almost time for a new thread, isn't it?
Same, Fantab. Like, by the time Adam left, so much of the cast had been trickling away, but Daphne was the first. That must have been so hard for them all to let her go after all they'd been through together.
I heard somewhere that the line for Daphne's last started 3 days before her last show. They had other lines going for the other performances at the same time, but they had to set up that one in advance, because people were anxiously holding out for that show specifically.
Kind of like what Katt posted above, they all knew it was the beginning of the end.
That's so sad lol.

By the time Adam and Fredi's last came around, they were no longer allowed to do the line. They had made it into a lotto by then, so I'm sure it was very different.
The line for Daphne's last started Wednesday night, and the show was Saturday night.
The line for Idina's last started Sunday morning and the show was Tuesday night.

^^ That's the person who posted that it was the beginning of the end at Daphne's last.

People are effing ridiculous.
Now the question is, would you have waited 2-3 days on a line for Adam's last, assuming that if you were in the line you would have been guaranteed a ticket?
