Sarah, that's awesome!
Ugh, my parents are trying to talk to me about my complete and utter bombage of my Calc midterm. Why can't my mother get it through her head that me going to talk to the professor about it would have no effect other than to remind me of something that makes me feel like crap?

I hate how much my parents don't understand university. I've bombed many things and have now realized I'm not cut out for university, and they wonder why I can't do better and why no one else is having problems.

So, I just woke up from a long nap (thanks to my drugs for knocking me out! I do feel a bit better though
)...
Scene: Amber enters the kitchen to start dinner, that I've had meat thawing all day, various things on the counter...
Roommate: I'm going to get fast food now.
Me: I was about to start baked ziti?
So...party at my place if anyone wants food since my roommate (as usual) chooses fast food over home cooked meals (blech)

Amber, i would LOVE you as a roomate. Mine was a huge fast food fan. So many times I would ask if she wanted to have a nicer home cooked meal (well made in the dorm lounge) and she never did

My housemates suck. The house is separated, so I never see them, except when the basement people lock themselves out because they're stupid. Today the people in the basement have been smoking pot, twice (hours apart), and the people on the middle floor have been cleaning with strong cleaning stuff. I'm allergic to strong scents, so that's three times today I've been attacked through my vent with the smells. And my computer is right by my vent and there's no way to change it around because of the outlets in my room. Now I have a headache.

I just don't understand that thinking...
So the unfortunate news of the afternoon: As soon as I got in from choir, I turned off my phone and got in the bed to I could rest and get better. My mom totally got me an appointment to a doctor this afternoon. My phone is slow and I don't get voice mails til later...so I didn't get her call when I was in choir. Missing the appointment. BOO!

I was just over on the Joni Mitchell thread and can't resist quoting from one of her most brilliant songs here too. She was a genius.
Blue, songs are like tattoos
You know I've been to sea before
Crown and anchor me
Or let me sail away
Blue, here is a song for you
Ink of a pin
Underneathh the skin
An empty space to fill in
Well there's so many sinking now
You've got to keep thinking
You can make it thru these waves
Acid, booze, and ass
Needles, guns, and grass
Lots of laughs, lots of laughs
Well everybody's saying
that hell's the hippest way to go
Well I don't think so
But I'm gonna take a look around it though
Blue, I love you
Blue, here is a shell for you
Inside you'll hear a sigh
A foggy lullaby
There is your song from me.
