*stomps foot*
Do I have to banish all of you from discussing the DVD in this thread like CS did with Anthony's book? You're making me sad. I may check to see if my school bookstore has it tomorrow, but I can't get to any other stores until next week.
In other news, the mailroom of my building lost my package. But my replacement Company tickets came today as well, so I'm not too annoyed. Once I stop happy dancing around the room with those, I'll go yell at the people again.

Aww, poor skittles. I hope your bookstore has the DVD, and that sucks that your mailroom lost stuff.

Sorry Skittles, I should realize how important it is to not talk about things. Like I said before I hadn't bothered reading the thread, so I had just assumed that everyone was talking about it.

I don't have the book or the movie, so, uh, I'm trying to read around all the comments. It's kind of difficult, but I like a challenge.

Ok, no more movie talk. And some of you can be my book PM buddies when I get that at the end of the week.

I'm pretty Rent-ed out at the moment, so I'm not really up for having an in-depth conversation about the DVD anyway. I will say that Daphne looks absolutely stunning and radiant in the documentary -- wow! (I think she got some, um, enhancements, though. Heh.) I also slowly became accustomed to Adam's eyebrows throughout it.
Anyway, since Adam's eyebrows have been talked to death... what's everyone else up to? I'm trying to keep myself from napping in order to get back on a normal sleep cycle.

I'm thinking of writing an essay. I've only found half the required sources, and I think I've left some information at school, so this could be interesting.

Normal sleep cycle? What's that?
I'm attempting to study for my Calc midterm and making ramen noodles for my roommate (she somehow managed to develop both a sinus infection and an ear infection over the weekend, so she's pretty miserable right now).

Poor Billboard's roommate.
I'm considering watching a movie. I know American Idol is on tonight, but it's two friggin' hours long. I don't think I can handle that much Idol.

And no Gilmore Girls.
I guess they didn't want to go up against the ladies figure skating.

Oh, gosh.... I know that everyone's pretty much DVDed-out, but I just got it and watched the deleted scenes. I think the theatrical release of the movie would have been so much better if it had included all of Goodbye Love, which features some stunning acting by the entire cast. That really is the emotional climax of the show for me (particularly the fight and Mimi's "I just came to say..." parts), and I don't think that that would have been "too much" at all. I also think that the transition into "What You Own" would have been so much less jarring if that had been left in.
Sorry! I just had to post to say how much I really, really love tha scene. Off to watch the commentary.

House is on tonight, I'm definatly watching that. But TWO fricken' hours of American Idol, I don't think so.

A lot of the shows are repeats, and for me the Olympics are repeats, so there's nothing to watch.

Ashley, I typed a similiar message to yours and then decided not to post it. The fight in Goodbye Love and the shots immediately after it had me tearing up. I won't go into specifics -- and really, I don't know how many specifics there really are to go into -- but I think Anthony, Adam, and Rosario all gave absolutely wonderful performances in that scene. When I saw some of it on VH1's website a week or so ago, I wasn't a huge fan, but the scene really works as a whole.

House was on last night because American Idol is 2 hours tonight.

Someone stole my newspaper yesterday, so I don't have a TV guide for the week. Maaad.

House is suppose to be on tonight as well, UNLESS my TV guide is lying to me!

At least in the US, House was on last night. Not sure about Canada.

Lexi, I'm sure a lot of people had the same reaction. It really is a gorgeous scene and watching the commentary on it made me sad, BUT I'm still absolutely thrilled to be able to see it preserved in some form even if it isn't in the context of the movie.
Okay, I will refrain from anymore DVD comments now.

I went to Red Lobster for dinner... had shrimp pasta. Then my sister and I went to Circuit City to get the Rent DVD. They were only getting 10 calendars in, but I was promised one. Woo. And, and... my mom got me tickets to see the Rent tour!! *bounces*
Yay!
Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to
