Every time I go food shopping with my parents, I make them buy pineapples.
I wish they'd included the suicide scene on the DVD. Aside from what it does for the story, it was in the same bathtub where Rosario is during Without You, and seeing both of those clips in the movie was supposed to create a really painful parallel for Roger's character.

I didn't know that, Em. That would have been interesting to see.

Me too. The more I think about Chris's "reasonings" the angry I get at him.
The only thing that I can hope about them not putting the suicide scene on the DVD is that they are saving them for another edition. I think that it's pretty unlikely of that to happen, but I don't understand what the reasoning is of leaving it out.

Well, there are probably quite a few very short deleted scenes, or clips of scenes that didn't make it in. They might be so tiny that we'll never see them. I mean, this missing sex scene that might exist and stuff like that. I don't know if they'd bother ever releasing something that's like... less than a minute (total guesstimate) long. There's a BEAUTIFUL sequence of Without You that I saw them shoot that's not in the movie.

I want bloopers.
Pineapples
. When I go food shopping for school, I'll ask my mom to get me a can of sliced pineapples.

If they ever make another DVD, they should include the bloopers, the video blogs, and the deleted scenes. They actually have a lot of extras that they could put on it.

I want bloopers too.

"They're singing, "Happy Birthday"
You just wanna lay down and cry
Not just another birthday, it's 30/90
Why can't you stay 29
Hell, you still feel like you're 22
Turn 30 in 1990
Bang! You're dead, what can you do?"

I doubt they would ever make another DVD.

I don't get why the blog videos aren't on there, since the site won't stay up forever.

I have them on my computer, so at least I can watch them. But they really should have included them on the DVD.

What did they shoot for Without You that didn't make it into the movie, Em?

That's why I downloaded most of the blog videos the other night.

It's hard to explain, and my photos are too blurry to make much out, but they found this wall in China Town that was really cool. It had graffiti and whatnot all over it, but it just looked very right, and it was neat to see that when I was still half-hating the whole idea. They just shot Rosario walking in front of it, but she was supposed to be either very sick or very drugged... maybe a bit of both. It looked choreographed, almost... it was really beautiful. I'll post a picture of the wall in a second.

The Amazon reviews of the DVD make me laugh. And I like how they list every single cast member such as "Thug #1 and Thug#2, and even have their pictures listed.
"I'm here to tell you, this movie is dynamite and IMHO much, much better than the play."
"Anthony Rapp is charming as Mark Cohen, he comes off as a tiny terror, I wonder how tall he is, the constant scenes of him snarking down the streets with his fists clenched in anger at his sides, but no one else around to reveal his true proportions--the old Alan Ladd trick. And Adam Pascal is suave and tormented in equal measures as Roger. His eyelashes are so long I expected them to have a special spotlights in the credits, but no."
""Light My Candle" suffers a little without Daphne Rubin-Vega in it, and Adam Pascal acts as though he knows he's cheating on her with Rosario Dawson. Afterwards he gets his balls back."

Ooh, that's gorgeous. I can see that fitting in well, although I really love Without You the way it is now.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't integral -- it was just another thing to stick in the montage.
