I'm about to have some chocolate chip pancakes in honor of my brother *finally* going back to college!
Yeah, he's been getting on my nerves, lying around all day while I'm at school...

Good morning, everyone.
Ahh, Disneyworld. I went there 3 times when I was younger. For once, my parents' ridiculously early-bird tendencies came in handy, as we got to all of the really popular rides before the lines got too long.
Heh, guitargeek. I'm sure my brother felt the same way when I went back to college after my winter break.

I love Disney World.

Hello all! I'm posting from Em's pretty new Mac. *pets*
I have to tell y'all what happened to me last night and thank Fantab for not being able to do Rent lotto with me. Instead of trying to do the Rent lotto last night by myself, I figured there would be less competition on a Sunday night show, so I decided to see Red Light Winter last night instead. They have student tickets available for $20 an hour before the show, so I showed up just after 7pm to buy one. The guy at the counter, however, informed me that there was a waitlist for student tickets and if not everyone showed up for showtime, I could have their seat. He said to come back at like 5-10 minutes before the show started at 8pm and they'd see if they could fit me and the other people on the list in.
So I was bummed, because I really wanted to see it, but at this point, if I couldn't see it, I was just going to go back to Em's anyway, so I figured I might as well wait it out. I wandered around the Village for the next half hour (and didn't get lost, yay!) then went back to the theater. They were filling up and the box office started to call a few people off the waiting list to get tickets. There was this one guy insisting that the rest of his friends were on the way in the car and they would be there in like 2 minutes. So the house people held off starting the show, or selling the rest of the tickets. I was hoping the people that worked there would give up and sell us the tickets because I really wanted to see the show, but then a bunch of people came in. I looked over and COLIN FARRELL is standing there.
He says "We're all here" in this AMAZING accent, then walks RIGHT PAST me to get to the box office and pick up his tickets. I was openly gawking with this HUGE grin on my face and he walked past me again (literally like 2 inches away) and gave his tickets to his friends in this really weird way and then they went into the show together.
The box office guy sold me an advance student ticket for tonight and was like "We're really sorry for making you wait." Heh. I'm not!
I left the building, immediately whipped out my phone and called 3 people, talking a mile a minute on each. So even though the evening didn't go as planned, there is NO WAY I'm complaining!

It seems like you had a great time.
Shari Lewis: Did you ever wish upon a star?
Lamb Chop: I once asked Mr. Rogers for his autograph.

Well, I'm not going to read 13 pages.
But skittles, that's great! Colin is yummy.

Yay, skittles! I'm glad my not doing lotto somehow paid off! When do I get to see you?

Uhg. I just saw that Matt Caplan isn't leaving until June. I was hoping I could go again in May...but I think I'll wait. =/

I want to see a good Mark. I've seen Matt and Drew Lachey. :-/

Is Matt officially the longest playing Mark on Broadway?

Probably. I mean...he's been with the show since 1999.
I've seen Matt 2 times...and then someone else. I think he was an u/s. I should see who it was.

Thank goodness I got to NYC in 1997. Some of the tours I have seen have been awful and some have been great, but the cast I saw on Broadway was my favorite. Anthony was still around and some of the original ensemble members had moved into the main roles.

I think I've seen Matt way too many times. Probably five or six - and every time was *exactly* the same.

He's never been the same any time I've seen him. He's so inconsistent. Sometimes I really like him, as much as I want to hate him, and sometimes I'm like "ew, get off the stage."

I just woke up and had a graham cracker for breakfast. Word.
I'd be too tempted to make a sex tape joke if Colin Farrel was two inches away from me, but then again, I can sometimes be a bit of a moron.

Awesome that you got to see the play AND ran into Colin Farrell, skittles. That would be... bizarre, to say the least.
