BG, that's like the most Jewish perspective of Valentine's Day I've ever read.
Hee, I'm usually not a fan of my mother's philosophy of buying stuff just because it's on sale, but for chocolate I make an exception.
On that note, when I was little my family always went to see the Radio City Christmas Show on Christmas day, because "it's so easy to get good seats then since all of the people who actually celebrate Christmas are, well, actually celebrating Christmas." I think we actually got front row one year
Ugh, I don't want to go to class, but I guess I have to.
Wheeeeeeeeee! Hi people!
Mandi!
Damnit, Mandi! I have to go to class.
But yay for you, and go read the Anthony thread.
I should be back on AIM in the next few days Rach. *hugsss*
And I have been reading the Anthony thread.
MANDIIIIII!!!! *hugs*
Anyway, catching up on things from throughout the day:
I went to a very average, boring high school, but for junior and senior years there was a half-day "governor's school" program with advanced math, science and technology classes. Kids from the surrounding schools would go there for their morning classes in those areas and back to their regular schools for English/social studies/foreign language. They had college classes and more advanced AP classes, and junior year everyone did a big research project and those who were selected presented at a state convention. It was a lot of fun, and my closest friends from high school were all from that school (and, ironically, we all went to different normal high schools throughout the county and wouldn't have met otherwise).
Valentine's Day... usually I'm one of those very depressed, mopey people when it comes around, but this year I've decided that I don't care. Yes, being single sucks, but I also realize that it's a day to let anyone that you love know it, so it'snice to do random little things for your friends and family. It at least makes it a little less dreadful.

I already said it before but I'll say it again: MANDI!!
People who haven't sent me their emails yet...Do it now! I don't want to miss anyone! (and if anyone has Mandi's pm me that too)
I sent you a pm!
So did I.
Awwww. Thank you Caitie!
I can't stop laughing about the eyelash curler.
re: AIDA... no, it's not that I think it'll be bad. I'm just averse to change, and if it's too different, I'll get upset. I want to see the show again, but on the flip-side, I want my last memory of it to be a good one -- which it is, so I don't want anything to taint that.
Hi Mandi!
I am on stressed out pineapple.
awwww. *pets* What's wrong?
It's these stupid papers. I have no idea how to start them. One of them is going to be late. I'm also really tired. I'm in that phase where all I want to do is cry.
Don't cry! Maybe you should take a short nap just to get some energy back?
I've already done that. I couldn't even make it two hours without having to sleep again.
Papers suck.

I can't stop laughing about the eyelash curler.
There's also a lei near the top of the photo. Please tell me that that was indeed some sort of shared room.
Hi, Mandi! I suppose you already heard that Anthony asked about you at the signing.
*snort*
I ALMOST spit my drink out. Thanks.
What picture are you guys talking about?

Em, that Eric Sciotto guy? He's not too bad looking! I don't know if I'd classify him as "hot," but he's decent. I was expecting some hideous man with dreadlocks after all your hair talk.
