Same here, Fantab.

My school is boring. We don't get anything interesting. There's medical technology, but most people have no interest in that at my school (Myself included). That plus the horrible music program, really makes my schoolt he place I want to be.

Aww Lexi, don't feel out of place! You did get into NYU, so you and your school must be doing something right re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six Hey, I only went to a fancy public school because my zoned school sucks ass.

Ehh. I guess I shouldn't downplay my high school so much - I did love it. It wasn't "supposed" to be known for its academics, so I guess that kind of excuses it.

I so don't miss high school.

Aw, thanks Jessica. I still wonder if I was accepted because they needed their token North Dakota student. Heh.

I know this sounds incredibly weird, but I'm so afraid that I won't like the book! I obviously won't know until I start reading so I may as well just start the damn thing, but I've never made it through a true personal memoir without getting bored out of my mind.

I definitely don't miss the concept of high school - I guess I miss all the talent I was surrounded by on a daily basis. It's really cool to be in school with a group of people who love the same things you do.

I cannot WAIT to get to college. If college is anything like the summer course I took at the College of William and Mary, I'll absolutely love it. I can't say I was a huge fan of the course itself, but I loved the atmosphere.

pshhh, my high school was the dumps, even though i live in the so called "posh area." our foreign language department was awful and the principal during my senior year was a nutcase. and, our school is litterally sinking. there are gaps where the roof and wall should connect.

So. The guy who's playing Radames in this regional production I might see was Adam's understudy on Broadway.

That's nice and ironic, don't you think?

Was he Adam's understudy back in 2000? I'd say this guy's probably had a lot of time to perfect his part!

I guess he's had six years to think about it.

I don't really know what to make of this. I mean, I don't like his hair, for one. But he must be good. I feel like this has some karmic meaning and that the world is laughing at me.

I just zoned out in front of the computer for ten minutes, heh. I'm pretty tired. Maybe I should go to sleep early tonight.

I miss high school sometimes, even though the workload was insane. I think it's because it was a relatively small school (I think there were 260 people in my graduating class) and I saw my friends every day. There were so many little quirks and traditions that made it a great experience even through the crazy assignments and idiotic rules.

My high school was terribly boring, and too small, we had less than 100 people in our graduating class.

My school was large and overcrowded. We had two grades in my graduating class.

Em, I doubt it has any meaning beyond that the guy probably just needed a job! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six You should definitely go. It can't be that bad, right? It's not high school or anything.

Heh, random quote of the day: "You know, Lexi, for someone so sociable, I'm surprised you don't have a boyfriend."

Yes, someone actually said that to me. I just smiled and nodded.

Hello all. Finally got caught up on the thread.

I would just like to point out that not only does Adam have an eyelash curler on his makeup table- he has TWO. I don't even own one. I'm not sure what I think about this.

My school had a "research class" of sorts, but it was called the Signiture Program and it was only a one year course. I didn't take it because there wasn't anything I was so interested in that I wanted to spend all year doing a project on it.

The thought of him curling his eyelashes for a production where no one but the person playing Aida is even going to notice makes me laugh.

Oh my God, Lexi, I would say I can't believe somebody would actually say something like that to your face, except I hear some variation of that every time I'm around my parents' friends.

Heh, maybe Adam has a separate curler for each eye, because he's just special like that re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Yeah we didn't have any reserach classes either. I'm glad to not be in high school but wasn't crazy about college, maybe I will find somewhere I like more. I am now looking at going into PR maybe...then i can do political and stuff with theater!

Lexi, I have had that said to me before (well something like it) it made me feel like ****.

Well, it was a friend, and I'm guessing it was tongue-in-cheek, but seriously!

Oh my God, I can see him meticulously applying "Great Lash" mascara, too. MAKE THE IMAGES STOP.

It could be worse. He could use fake eyelashes.

SD, I've given up caring about stuff like that. I've been single every Valentine's Day of my life, I just don't get the whole depression over being single. I have fun when I want to, so I don't see why people should try and make you feel bad just for not having a guy to give chocolates and teddy bears to you on this ONE day.

I really don't think it's his dressing room. I think it's a general makeup room. Why would he need to eyelash curlers? It's also not that rare to find the performers doing their own make-up. I've seen pictures of Idina and Euan Morton doing their own make-up too.

I wouldn't particularly care about being single on Valentine's Day if the non-single people didn't have to get so nauseating lovey-dovey about it. Eh, whatever. All the suckers that bought chocolate in heart-shaped boxes paid more than what I'll be paying for the same thing tomorrow, and that's what really matters re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

BG, that's like the most Jewish perspective of Valentine's Day I've ever read. But it's totally true. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Oh, did any of you guys watch that movie The Red Balloon when you were little? It's about the little boy that has the red balloon that follows him around? I saw the video yesterday at work and was just read the back to reminisce and discovered the little boy's name is Pascal. I had to smile.
