Heh, I love how Raul gets talked about more in this thread than in his own thread.

Holy crap, I just realized that this thread has more posts than the Raul thread that was started at the same time as Part 5. Whoa.

I think a lot of Reidel's issues are the "diva" attitude he seems to think Raul has- not like truly his personal life- but more about the persona Reidel has formed for Raul through gossip, rumors and hearsay.

I think he just doesn't like his acting... and then runs with that because he's a nasty little bitch of a man. I don't think he would DARE right about that which shall not be posted, but I'm sure he would like to.

Reidel's not a critic anyway, right? I think I remember reading him saying that he never wanted to be a "real" theater critic. He's the theater equivalent of a gossip columnest... so who really cares what he thinks? (Rhetorical question... yes, I know that gossip can hurt a show).

But yeah, it does sound that way. I've heard that he's said some pretty awful things about performers I admire (Raul, Bernadette Peters, etc.).
