This has got to be the funniest thing ever:
Adam nodded and moved for the dressing room.
“Just promise me one thing.”
“What?”
“Leave the fangs in.”
Fangs...? Oy.
Some fanfic is just so horrible it's awesome. I can't imagine any of them saying these things. It kinda is a character but with a real name.
That was hard to read.
I think I might throw up.
It makes me wonder where the fangs came from in the first place.

Okay, technical question: How do you put post text in italics?
< i > blah blah blah < / i >
no spaces

Fangs...hey, wait a minute. That reminds me. Am I the only person who thinks Adam would make a good Lestat?
Mind you, I know absolutely bubkes about the music of the show, so it may be a terrible fit for his voice, but Lestat (if I recall from that particular book) created a rock star persona for himself.
Apologies if this has already been discussed.

Merci re: italics, CS! Or should I say, Merci!
I remeber early on, people were talking about him possibly doing it, since it's Elton's work. A lot of us were hoping that he'd get to replace the guy who left due to a restructuring of the part. Wishful, I guess.
Kim, if you go to the FAQ it tells you a lot of useful stuff about posting. I ended up taking notes .
Personally, I'm glad. I want Adam back on Broadway, but not in a near-guaranteed flop; especially one that was written by Anne Rice. Ew.

Maybe it was offered & he turned it down. Can't say there's been great success in converting Anne Rice's books to other mediums. We all recall the great disaster of Interview with a Vampire. That was... oh, there are just no words to describe.
I absolutely adore her work, but she has a very sprawling literary style. It's hard to grab a core story to build a show/ movie around.
The Lestat commercials crack me up.
Well, didn't Adam say that all of the Broadway stuff that he was being offered was crap?
It doesn't look well for Lestat, so I'm kinda happy he's not in it. If he's going to be in something, I want it to be in the summer. I've decided that no matter what I'm going to New York this summer.

Yes, Mandi, I believe that was a direct quote.
I swear, that man is like one big, really pretty stream of consciousness.
Yay CS! I want to go up there as often as I can this summer. 3 months stuck with my family is too depressing, I'll need multiple lights at the end of tunnels.

Occasionally, I'm reminded of that scene from Bull Durham (clearly Adam does not ascribe to this theory):
Crash: It's time to work on your cliches
Nuke: What? That's boring!
Crash: You need to learn them, you need to know them. They're your friends.
I know what you mean Skittles. I'm actually moving back home at the end of April. So I'll need a vacation away from my family.
I'm going for like a day in May, but hopefully I can go at least once over the summer.
Let me know when you've all got schedules, and maybe we can work something out so I can see you all.
Yay! So far, my only plan is to see The Lion King before it closes to switch theaters, but I'm sure I can think of as many excuses as necessary to go up there.
