haha. Yes. If the drama isn't about someone I have feelings toward one way or the other -- i.e. drama I can watch without attachment -- it's so much fun.

Woah, anyone else find it eerie to watch/listen to Jonathan?

Yes, because I kept thinking of Raul! I'm certain it's supposed to go the other way...
It's saying I don't have the right program to watch the clip. I don't understand - I have almost every program imaginable on here!

Hmm, that is weird...
Have you watched anything on Youtube before?
Ooh yes.
I think that's a great song choice, Allie.

I don't even remember if that was an actual secret, but it's the perfect example of a boring one.
I think there was a secret along those lines involving "Another Day." The ultra personal/esoteric ones irk me as it's nearly impossible to garner sympathy for oneself through an anonymously submitted secret.
I was honestly shocked that the "OMG they should have gotten a fat girl to play Joanne in the movie!" secrets barely generated a peep, considering some of the boring ones that got bitched about.
I was surprised about that, too. Although, there isn't much to say beyond "I agree" or "I disagree."
The drama about Adam potentially asking someone out ten years ago made me L-O-effing-L.
Me and Adam? We're friends forever CUZ he's seen me 15 times.
Seeing video of Jonathan performing is both eerie/sad and completely inspiring. He's such a dynamic performer, and he is just so full of life that it's hard to watch it in retrospect.
I've seen a short clip of Jonathan performing another part of TTB, and in that especially I was FLOORED at how well Raúl managed to convey Jonathan's personality, even though he insisted that he wasn't "playing" Jonathan Larson.

Haha, Em! Please don't tell me that's your secret!
I'm surprised there haven't been any "I banged so-and-so" ones!
Fantab, maybe you need to reboot your computer. That seems to solve 90% of my inexplicable problems, as in something not working that's worked before.
Speaking of secrets, here's my true confession for the night: I've never listened to tt...B. So had no one to compare Jonathan Larson to. And I thought he did a terrific job with the song, which is obviously a parody of Sondheim. He plays piano wonderfully too.

No, no no. I'll show you mine in a second. But mum's the word when it goes up!
Chloe, you must hear it.
I might have to make an "I banged so and so" one.
I know, I'm far too obsessive about the things I like. Then I just don't listen to anything else for a while.
And tell me your secret too?
I was surprised about that, too. Although, there isn't much to say beyond "I agree" or "I disagree."
You do have a point there, but considering what a minefield that subject tends to be, I was really expecting major drama.

I think back in the first secrets post, there was a secret from someone who claimed they had had sex with a recent cast member and that they couldn't tell their friends because the friends would either hate them or not believe them. Through the comments, it was revealed that the actor in question was Dan Rosenbaum.
I'll give you my ttB collection... you need to hear it.
You've heard Raúl sing, though, right?
I'll try it again tomorrow.
Ok, I think I'm going to head off to bed. Or at least *attempt* it. We'll see how many times I end up running back to the computer before I actually get to my bed.
Story of my life.
'night!
Em, I wanna see your secret too

I'm sorry to sound uneducated, but what part did Dan Rosenbaum play?
I've definitely heard Raul sing, I was at Brilliant Mistake.
I have a feeling that there are many banging stories to tell (but not by me, unfortunately), but very few are either brave enough or shallow enough to tell them. Can't quite make up my mind which it would be, maybe both.
oh. YES! aaah, it's late.
Lexi, he was Roger.

He was Roger on the most recent tour before the one that just started.
