I'll have to check out the reviews, see what people are saying and such, although I doubt there are many up yet...
It's very Em-esque.
Check out this thread from the IMDb board, any of you who are registered there.
Is he or isnt he?
Em, I've told you this before. But Raul's pose in your Av makes me sooo happy .

I'm excited for Friday's secrets.
I know. It's pathetic and sad. My life has been reduced to waiting for Rent secrets and counting off the days until I move to NYC.
On another note, people need to stop with the lame secrets. How is saying someone is the "best [insert character here] ever" a secret (unless it's about Mel B. or another infamous performer)? How is saying that the Rent DVD cover is ugly a secret?! Grr. (I swear, I have a life.)
I'll go check out your review right now, Em.
Lovely review, Em. I'm going to go back an read some of the other ones.
IMDB. How I hate you.
Thanks, ss.
For those too lazy to register on IMDB, anyone care to summarize? From Em's reply, it sounds good.

It's a thread posing the question, "Is Adam gay?" Everyone responded "no," and then the conversation turned to trashing real-person fanfic.

At least most of the responses were reasonable, if not always very well-written.
Unlike your review, which was very good. You had a typo though - do they let you edit?
Yeah, they do. I'll fix it right now.

I agree. That's one of the more readable and reasonable threads I've seen on those boards. To be honest, it sounded like an innocent question. Perhaps the initial poster confused him with Anthony.
Excellent review, Em.

Aww, that's not pathetic. I had lived in NYC my entire life and I still spent my senior year counting down the days until I would be living a whole subway ride away from my parents.

WORD. I know the point of it is people confessing their feelings on things they would be afraid to have their name attached to, but somehow I highly doubt that hating the DVD cover is the kind of unpopular opinion that one would only want to express anonymously.
Excellent. I love these IMDB boards.
What I liked on that IMDb thread was the run-on description of the Sirius conversation about real-person fanfic. It made me feel out of breath.
Those Amazon reviews are all pretty good, mostly not too gushy while being very positive.

Okay, I'll be honest. I love the secrets that invite the scandal and drama the most. I don't care if you didn't like the DVD cover, I don't care if you prance around and sing "Out Tonight" at the top of your lungs, and I don't care if you want a sex change operation.
Em, your review was wonderful. I wish I had a way with words like that!

Okay, I'm back for a sec. Time for some friendly advice (from you to me): I ended up recording "Crash and Burn" by Savage Garden for BWW Idol... having heard my previous entries (hopefully!), do you think it's too similar to the others? Oh my GOD, my range is completely gone. I am so SIIICK! I went through half a dozen songs before I found one I could do. Tiff's gonna be pissed that I changed my selection.
Wonderful, wonderful review, Em.
Well I'm the same, SD, though I don't quite approve of myself for it.
Ooh Allie I like that song a lot!

Hah, Chloe! No, I'm not claiming that it's a morally upstanding belief to hold, but let's face it: I read through those secrets and comments from the juice and drama, not to hear that "Seasons of Love" reminds you of your ex.
Allie, I can't say that I've been following BWW Idol too intently, but I'll make a mental note to listen to your rendition of "Crash and Burn." It's a pretty song.
Lexi, that other post made me LOL.
I don't know what people are going to think of my secret for this week. They'll probably be like "uh, you're deluded." It's about Adam, obviously.
Gracias for the review approvals. My writing is often better when I'm tired, because I say exactly what's on my mind.
"not to hear that "Seasons of Love" reminds you of your ex"
I don't even remember if that was an actual secret, but it's the perfect example of a boring one.
Allie, I've only heard one of your other recordings, because I didn't really catch on to the whole contest until a few days ago, but I'll definitely check out your new one. I'm really sorry to had to record it while you're so sick.
I think what's the most fun for me is trying to guess which secrets will cause the most drama (and as long as it's from a secret that's not about Adam, the drama can be kind of fun to watch). I was honestly shocked that the "OMG they should have gotten a fat girl to play Joanne in the movie!" secrets barely generated a peep, considering some of the boring ones that got bitched about.

I had to take the two verses up an octave, because I can't sing that low tonight. But I think it sounds okay! *collapses*
Oh my gosh, you guys, somebody posted a link to this video on CB (it's a YouTube vid). Jonathan Larson performing 'Sunday'. I never realized just how much like him Raul was in that part. It's eerie.

Your review was great- and speaking as someone who has written every paper of her life at 3:00 AM, I know exactly what you mean.
