I hate cold weather, and I'm usually complaining about being cold even when everyone else is roasting. That's why I don't understand my bizarre ice cream frenzy.

My hair is a big ol' frizzy poofy in-need-of-a-trim mess. I don't know when I'll be able to get back home for a haircut, though, and I'm kinda toying with the idea of letting the shortest layer grow out enough that I can try a short haircut.

that's awesome..I wish our chorus/orchestra/band was doing something cool for RENT. When POTO came out last year we sang this really cool arrangment of different POTO songs. It was really fun. I know the chorus is doing SOL this year, I'm not in chorus anymore..ofcourse, the one year I don't do it.

This arrangement is dreadful, but it's supposedly the only one out there. (Why do I think my director pulled that out of his ass?) Ah, well... we're doing it for the spring concert. YAY!

SOL is overdone, but really, are there any other RENT songs that would be appropriate for a high school chorus to sing?

There's other songs that wouldn't be offensive, I think that SoL is pretty much the only one that works out of context of the show, though. People might get confused by other songs if they weren't familiar with the show.

Finale B and Without You and a few others can work outside of the context of the show, although that's generally not a requirement for choral selections. Plus I'm sure there's a medley of songs from Rent somewhere out there, isn't there? I'd be surprised if not.
