"Seasons of Love" and "Finale B" are entirely too much fun on the flute. It was the most fun I've had in band in awhile.

Well, they sang it on the Today Show, and I thought it was fine on it's own and out of context. Btw, I love how I spurred an entire 30 minute conversation about hair.

Emcee says hi. Anthony was supposed to be at the thing she's at, but apparently, he cancelled this morning

Finale B would work really well for a chorus arrangement. It's one of my favorite songs from Rent, so I wish it got more attention- especially over SOL. Without You would work out of the context of the show, but it's so solo/duet-ish that I can't see an entire chorus performing it together without it seeming weird.

I just think it's funny that a school band is playing Rent music, when onstage it's like 5 guys with guitars and drums. I guess I would just expect them to play a more traditional musical theater score over something as pop/rock as Rent.
