I'm watching a profile of Bon Jovi on Muchmore Music right now. I know Adam gets the comparisons because of his hairsyle, but there is definitely a resemblance there. It's more than just the hair, but I can't quite place what it is. I can hear a touch of Adam's growl in certain Bon Jovi songs (or a John growl in Adam, I suppose, since Bon Jovi's been around longer!). Either way, Adam would KILL at singing Bon Jovi. It would be incredible. AND, they showed the video for Bed of Roses, and in the middle, there's a big electric guitar solo section. It takes place on a cliff. I think if so many people weren't familiar with music videos shot in the southwest, The Cliff wouldn't have been such a big deal.

Adam and Bon Jovi have similar coloring. What's funny is that one is Jewish and the other Italian and they're both blond.

That can't possibly be a coincidence. My inclination is that someone dislikes me and put that about Raul as a slam, even though there is NO legit way to make the connection from Raul to me to the username.

*shrugs*

I can try to think of what it might be, but it'll just drive me nuts.

Anyway, these are less-than exciting.

I thought it was a reference to you two Em. Although the word Emcee automatically means you in my head. But I was having so much problems trying to understand what it said.

I got a very strange PM this afternoon... I'm going to share it here, because... I want to, and it gave me a little WTF moment. I blocked out the email address that was the subject line, just to be nice. This person has never posted on BWW. So weird.

Anyway, Rentsecrets. My take on the Emcee one is that the person who made the secret doesn't like our dear Emcee, and thinks... she's out for attention? I have no idea why I thought that, and please know that's not how I feel at all *hugs Em*, but that was my first thought when I read it. I could be totally off.

Well, if it is someone taking a swipe at Emcee, they chose a very awkward, unclear way to do it. And obviously he or she doesn't have the guts to confront you directly. My suggestion is for everyone to ignore it unless someone else makes the connection. If there are no responses, the poster won't get any satisfaction.

I read:

It's no coincidence that it resembles my username; they don't mean Master of Ceremonies. They don't mean the role Raul played.

First part is just to piss me off and say he hates me. But it's a load of crap because he doesn't even know my first name, let alone my BWW username. And even if he reads BWW, he has no way to connect real me to BWW me.

Second part: Anthony loves that I shower him with attention all the time, and I'm kissing ass.

I'm curious and confused, but I shouldn't let it bug me. I always feel like if you have a problem with me, you should say it, and if this IS being read correctly, I think this person is being a coward.

I just never expected to be a target, personally.
