re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

NYU dorms are weird. Why are they so far away from campus?

Some are -- I'm guessing because it's difficult to find buildings NYU can use as dorms around the main campus area -- but some (Weinstein, Goddard, and Hayden) are practically right on top of the campus.

Yeah, I can't cook for my life either. It's a combination of general disinterest in cooking and laziness. Any time my mom isn't home for dinner, I automatically order sushi or a pizza.

I can kind of make simple things but my problem is getting everything ready at the same time. Usually *if* I cook, some of my food is cold by the time the rest of it is ready.

I can cook. It's just that I don't like to. I always want my mom to make my food, because it tastes better.

I'll cook simple things, and every so often try my hand at making something substantial.... honestly, I'd much rather cook for myself than eat the same bland dining hall food anymore.

Yeah, the freshman dorms are all pretty much a 10-minute walk or less from campus, but everything else is kind of spread out. Generally, the further you go from campus, the nicer the dorms are (with the infamous 26th Street being the main exception to that rule).

You're already thinking like a New Yorker! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six Seriously, the phone is the most important food-related appliance in the kitchen. I can do some basic cooking, but why should I when there are so many good restaurants nearby?

Haha! It's sad that I don't even go to the school yet and I've already heard horror stories about that dorm.

Whoa, maybe we now have too many Dirty Sanchez avatars in this thread?! But... I like Adam's face in mine!

I can imagine what you must have heard. Oh man, last year a lot of people who didn't put 26th as any of their choices on the housing lottery were assigned to it, and all hell broke loose. Made for some interesting Facebook group titles, that's for sure.

I stayed with a friend that lives in the dorm on Lafayette in Chinatown and she said the same thing. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

aaaand I just noticed that one of his nipples is ever-so-slightly visible in mine. What the hell? I thought it was hot that today.

YES, I'm mature! I swear!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

As someone who really didn't cook until this school year, I'm shocked to say I find cooking really relaxing. And, I get to eat excellently.

If my roommate cooked, it'd be called McDonalds (blech)

I had pizza tonight...onion, to be exact. It may be plain and boring, but it's safer than the food in my school's cafeteria...*shudder*

Geez, Lexi, what is it with you and your fixation on Adam's chest? re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

Yeah, Lafayette is a really nice building. I hope that's where I get assigned for summer housing.

I say the avatar repetitiveness is his fault for not always wearing the same shirt. And, you know, looking hot in it. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part six

I'm sure if he could, and assuming there were no manboobs present (sorry!) - Adam would walk around shirtless all the time.

Despite its questionable validity, I'm still laughing at the image of him trying to lift as much weight as humanly possible and using pick-up lines like, "We are so going out this weekend, babe!"

Fantab, you did NOT just bring up the manboobs! See, people, it isn't always me!
