Heh, Mandi, any reason why you chose those names in particular?
I can't say that I've ever given thought to his middle name before! I didn't even make the connection after reading that article. I'm unperceptive (nonperceptive?).
I think when I discovered how much I enjoy Raul's full name, I became very much more curious about Adam's.

Oh, I meant that I never wondered about Lennon's middle name, but I guess I haven't given Adam's much thought, either.
Raul's full name just rolls off your tongue.
Hee. Raul.
I have nothing better to contribute.
Sorry to be ignorant, but what *is* Raul's middle name?

I love how your wall is like... the many faces and looks of Raul Esparza.
Eduardo
Mine? hee. I have more Raul related posters than I do Adam related ones, since I have Taboo, TTB and the Kennedy Center shows. I have all those photos, too. whoops.

I was specifically referring to the photos. Woodcutter Raul! Clean-shaven Raul!
Hee. Navy "I swear I'm butch!" Raul. I've had those photo collages forever, and have pretty much just left the original stuff as is; then I add more, hence the Raul pile-up.
I think Adam is feeling a little slighted.
Where do we think Montgomery Lovell came from? Someone suggested long ago that it must be a family name, and that seems right to me.
Well, he should've thought about that before he spent a year and a half worth of photo documentation closing his eyes.
I think that's about all it logically can be! That's er, quite a name. I remember when I read that that's what the baby's name was, nobody knew for like a week if it was a boy or a girl!
I love the name Montgomery. Lovell, just seems out of the blue (to me). Sounds like it would be a family name. I mean, how many people do you know have the name Lovell?

Well, Angela, how many people you know have the name Montgomery? Or Lennon? But no, I see what you're saying. It's probably a family name.
How do you even pronounce Lovell?
Montgomery is cool, because it can be shortened into Monte.
And as for Maurice and Bartholomew, no idea. I just thought they seemed like names that you'd be embarrassed to have.

Monte is adorable, but I'm not sure how much I'd like it by the time I hit college!
I have sort of the same problem -- the name Alexandra sounds beautiful, but Alex sounds a bit androgynous, and Lexi starts to sound obnoxious around college age. There are a million other nickname possibilities, but I'm not a huge fan of those, either.
And Mandi, I thought you picked those because one of them was Mano's middle name or something like that. And I say it love-l.
Whoops. At least you knew what I was saying. I'm a bit on the moody side w/ things going on AND So You Think You Dance? not being on tonight because of a baseball game.
Semi-OT: I remember on Rocket Power, one of the kid's name was Maurice but they called him Twister. He got really embarassed when people called him Maurice.
Mandi: I've been pronouncing Lov-ull. Something like that. How do you pronounce it?

I said that I could see what you're saying. Is the baseball game the All Star game? I'm watching that right now. I like the All Star game, but dislike the amount of importance MLB has recently put upon it.
There are lots of Lovells, apparently. It seems to be an English name, For some reason, I've always thought it was pronounced Luh-VELL, kind of like Si-BELL. Just an assumption, I have no idea what it really is.

I guess I say it like Lov-elle...like, kinda French sounding?
And, I have no idea what Mano's middle name is. I'm sure it's interesting though.

I always associated it with Apollo 13 crew member Jim Lovell, which is pronounced love-uhl. I think. Time to watch the movie again!

It is the All-Star game. I have no idea who's playing.
I went to the Merriam Webster website & looked it up. You can check out the pronounciation: http://m-w.com/dictionary/lovell. Their family could say it a different way, but I suppose it's one way of saying it.
All the pronunciations I could find agree that I'm wrong, and it's LUH-vuhl. Another illusion shattered!

Oooh, I was finally correct about something for once.
I was looking through some of my videos earlier -- I really hope that Adam can put on another straight-up rock concert again. I was about to post this on the main board thread, but I didn't want to dissuade people from going to the LA show (not that one post really would have done that). I think his best songs are really suited for it, and watching him play the acoustic guitar up there with Larry just isn't as electric (hah, no pun intended) and fun as the clips from 2001. I'm sure Adam feels that the demand for him to sing Broadway is much greater than the demand for him to sing rock songs, which is probably completely true, but I hope he hasn't given up on the all-out rock show entirely.
I like him with a band doing rock too. Maybe I have the wrong impression, but it seems that this LA show isn't even going to have Larry, but be a totally solo show.
That would be... interesting.
