See, now, if you hadn't said they were boobs, I probably would have just assumed they were hotdogs.
I'm glad you had a great time! That's an awesome set.

I'm not Chloe, but her icon picture is from Adam, Daphne, and Anthony's apperance on the Charlie Rose show in 1996. Go to video.google.com and search for Adam's name. You should find links to the segment there (there are two links, but it's the same segment). It says "free today," but it's said that for a few weeks. It's definitely something worth watching.
As for Adam, he's doing two shows in LA at the Brentwood Theater on July 28 and 29. Originally, only one show was scheduled, but I believe it sold well enough to add a second date. They're both scheduled to be acoustic shows with his pianist Larry Edoff, but I'm not sure if the setlist will be the same as the spring tour. Read his most recent blog entry at myspace.com/adampascal (you don't have to be a member to read it) for more of an update on his current situation.
Wow Alex! Great pictures, thanks for posting
At first I thought those statues were real people. =P

Are they showing up now?
I got the Red Piano program that they were selling..do you guys want me to scan some pictures from it?
Alex-It looks like you had a great time. Thanks for all the pics
Yes, thanks Alex. What a fantasy land it is out there. I'm sure there are a lot of Elton fans who would be extremely jealous that you got to be on stage. You mentioned earlier that you got a drunstick. Was that from Nigel Olsson? He plays a standard drum kit, while John Mahon plays other percussion. Nigel has been with Elton off and on since the beginning of his career.

Yes it was Nigel. He was extremely nice as well. Thanks everyone! I had a blast.
To get back on topic for a moment, I was just reading the thread on Book of Endings on Adam's LJ and realized I have no clue what the title means. All the references I could find didn't seem related - the Book of Revelation in the New Testament, a book about odd deaths, a poem about species extinction, an online work of fiction comprised of links. Anyone got some ideas?
I think Book of Endings is sort of a figure of speech for something that's very important; the song is saying, in short, that he doesn't want to be that guy who people cling to for their sanity, or the guy who people send e-mails to saying that their lives depend on his response.
That makes sense, Emcee. Have you ever seen it used that way somewhere else, or is this something Adam came up with?
I'm pretty sure I'd heard it used before, which is how I came to that conclusion. I think.
I was wondering if it were some kind of slang term I've never heard of.
I hadn't ever heard of it either, but Em's analysis seems pretty on target. Just that he doesn't want to be the be-all end-all of anyone's existance, and there's definitely a religious connotation to it, which sort of makes sense the way that some people idolize stars. I can't think of what it could mean other than that, anyway.

Right, exactly.
Thanks guys.
I don't want to be your book of endings
Take a little time, I'm just pretending
Now that I think about it, "I'm just pretending" could specifically mean "I'm just pretending to be this cool, godlike guy," not "I'm just pretending to like all of you," which I think is how some people interpret it.
