ah, he talked to me when my cell phone went off during his show in April, too.
I wanna see him perform again Thanks for the reviews!
Thanks, arapp!
especially the one to his wife (which as he joked got him laid when she heard it Friday night)

Hah, skittles, yes, but I'm guessing it was his excuse to get away from the fangirls ASAP. It's slightly unlikely that he had to catch a flight exactly at 10 PM anyway!
I was able to come home from work early. Thank God. My head is so falling onto the pillow in two seconds.
Awww. Sweet dreams! :)
I had a dream about the October show, heh. I hope he doesn't pull the five minute thing here. :-/

Someone posted this review on IMDb; I copied and pasted (see how much I love you all?).
Okay, last night was the night... and here's the super long description of the concert:
My cousin and I had great seats - in just the fourth row with a perfect view. The doors had opened at 7:30, and there were a couple disturbances as Wilson and Tracie came into the theatre. I was so excited, and it seemed to be taking forever. The great news was that Adam doesn't give a damn about photography, flash or other, so we all had our cameras out.
Just then, the lights finally went down. Oh the screaming when Adam and Larry (Larry Edoff, Adam's piano accompanist and sometime-writing collaborator) finally walked in - and believe me, I was contributing. Adam was wearing a short-sleeved blue button-down shirt, jeans, and the same converses as last Saturday. He wore a metal necklace and bracelets, and yes, my amigos, his wedding ring. As I neglected to mention before, he's blond right now, and he had it spiked up a little. And god, he seriously looks great right now - those biceps were fighting his sleeves. Honestly, he looks as he did in his Rent days 10 years ago - better. Anyway......
Adam started off singing "Beautiful Song" right away. Amazing as always - he played guitar to Larry's piano. Adam is a very confident, comfortable performer, and he always sings with all his heart at the top of his range every time.
Next Adam welcomed everyone, saying, "I see I have my usual audienceo f young ladies and gay guys." "Book of endings" was his next song, and he described it as the song for musical theatre fans, a love-hate relationship where, "I'm arguing with 14-year-old girls on chat boards who are tyring to give me career advice." He went on to use the analogy of something about a puppy ("that cute effing [IMDB will not censor me this time] little dog." It had everyone laughing. Then a couple fans walked in, and Adam said with mock severity, "You're LATE."
"Liken A Razor" was next. Adam described how he had recorded it during tech rehearsals during Aida. He deomonstrated the annoying moving around that is done during tech week, 12 + hours daily for another laugh. He said, "At that tiem, the director can either help you out if you're lucky, or they can f* you up the piehole." He paused. "Did I say that out loud?"
The next song was a song for nhis new album that he's working on now - a song for Cybele (his wife). He talked about the difficulties of writing a song for Cybele because, "I didn't want it to be complete crap." Then Adam went on to say, "My wife was here last night, and I guess she liked it - this song got me laid!" He sounded so proud of himself. My god, I love Adam. Who else would say something like that. So funny. I nearly burst a rib. Anyway, the song was beaituiful, and really loving. And I guess it, um, paid off. So for any other fellow Adam fans who were sitting there Friday night wondering how the concert was doing and then what Adam was doing... now you know.
Nexdt up was "Maybe This Time" from Cabaret. Adam switched from guitar to bass and did a wonderful job. He mentioned what a great time he'd had doing Cabaret.
After that, Adam sang "Maria" from West Side Story. He introduced it by saying, "I know this is sacrilege, but I actually really hate WSS." Listening to this song made mre realize for the billionth time what fantastic pipes Adam has. His voice really soared on this one. Gorgeous.
Now Adam introduced a new song, called "A Single Drop of You" that he's working on now. Great stuff. I'm so excited for the new CD. It'll be great.
Then Larry sang a song from his own new CDE while ADam played background bass. During the applause, someone screamed, "I love you Larry." To which Adam replied, "Don't say that to Larry - his wife is here. Besides, he'll get a big F*ing head." I have to say, I was surprised last Saturday when Adam was quite restrained in his language (only 1 f-bomb). He was totally saving it up for tonight. I absolutely adore his trucker mouth.
The next song was another new song that Adam's working on now, called "Just As I Am." When he said that he and Larry co-wrote it, the audience went, "Aaaaaww..." Adam said, "What? It's not like we were having sex. We were just writing a song. Jesus. Though we did get quite cuddly..." "I love you Larry!" someone screamed again. "That's not something you'd wanna hear in a prison shower," Adam observed. "'I love you, Larry.'"
"Model Prisoner" was the next song. Great, great, great. One of my favorites.
Then: "I'm With You." Adam described how the song chronicled Lennon's birth coinciding with 9/11. this song is always so beautiful. He did a fabulous job, and his range on those vocal acrobatics at the end! Wow. I was blown away- he went even higher than usual.
Adam and Larry dashed off for a moment, returning for "One Song Glory." This was absolutely gorgeously beautiful - their piano version. Adam sounded completely amazing. I wasn't the only fan to get misty-etyed. This was beyond words, seriously.
The final song was "What I Did for Love" - wonderful!!!
Adam got a standing ovation, and he deservedc it completely. It was a terrific concert, Adam was in top form (voice, looks, and naughty mouth), and he was such a charming host. One of the best nights of my life.
As we left, I got a picture with Tracie and an autograph. She was incredibly nice and so bubbly and happy and she seemed so thrilled by the attention. In 1 week I've met 3 stars of Rent: Adam, Wilson, and Tracie - how crazy is that. And they were all the nicest people ever. Adam especially, for his hug and "thanks sweetie" thing from when i had my emotional moment
So yeah, that's the concert. AMAZING. That sums it up.
I want the new album!

Ok, I'm going a little off topic here. Last night I went to a friends house for a sleepover. She goes to a different school than I do and she and her other friends were talking about this kid that they call "Sparkly McGee". I asked them why they call him that and she says, "The first time we met him he was wearing jeans with sparkles on them" I started laughing uncontrollably and everyone just stared at me like I was really wierd. So yup, that's my random story
So I guess Adam isn't the only guy in the world to wear the sparkly jeans. Thanks for posting that review, Lexi. I knew she'd come through with a lot of details.
EEEEEEE! WE HAVE WIRELESS AT THE BEACH!!!!
*calms self*
Thanks for posting the review, Lexi. I love Adam's comments about writing the song with Larry. Hee. Cuddly.

SKITTLES! YAY! I was JUST beginning to miss you... ever so slightly. :P
And yeah, those comments were great. He seemed like he was in a good mood last night... WONDER WHY.
Run don't walk to AP Online. She's posted over a hundred stunning pictures from the concert, along with videos of the three new songs. I haven't had a chance to check out the songs yet, but here's a sample of the pix:
*squeals* Yay!!!!!!
Thanks, Chloe!
You're welcome! Let me know if any of you are able to view the videos. I haven't had any luck so far, which could be a Mac issue.

I can't even access the site. What file type are the videos? If you send the files my way, I can try to convert them for you to a file type that might work for you.
Wow, he looks gorgeous.
She said they're MPGs, which shouldn't be a problem. I have a feeling she may have to tweak her links or something. Meanwhile here's another sample. It was very dark, so I did a little iPhoto work on it.
Ooh. I'll watch the videos when I have more time in a little while. Can't wait.
Ooh, WOW. That's... I don't even know. Amazing picture. *gives up talking and takes up staring*

He looks like he's going back to his (stage) Roger roots a bit, yes?
I'm bitter that the website isn't loading for me! I tried it on the other computer to no avail as well.
To help tide Lexi over -
That's an incredible picture! The lighting is great.

Thanks Chloe. Is everyone still angry about the lack of brown hair? Hah.
Ooh, someone posted kinda sorta descriptions of the new songs on IMDb.
I just finished listening to the song for Cybele and it's gorgeous - simple, heartfelt and beautiful.
