Is your cousin at all familiar with Adam's music? It would be great to hear some reactions to the new songs, but to someone who doesn't know the old songs they obviously won't stand out.

So tonight was sort of a birthday present to myself. I think almost everyone had already gotten me something, but I figured I worked my butt off enough this past year to treat myself. I was in the third row, needless to say I was very happy where I was even if I wasn¡¦t in the center, the theater was small enough that it didn¡¦t really take anything away from seeing him at an angle. He was again sportin the California look, not sure if it was the same shirt as the night before, but the colors were definitely very similar at least from patterned and light blue, ¡K..I must say I did notice his first few buttons were unbuttoned. Hehe, also wearin jeans (duh)and looked like Velcro Road Dog sneakers which are pretty popular out here.

He was very engaging and talkative and joking during the breaks between music. It was great, even if some of the jokes were the same from the night before and the previous tour The setlist was pretty much the same as last night..err..friday night. I really liked the new song, especially the one to his wife (which as he joked got him laid when she heard it Friday night). . Hey the song can¡¦t be bad if it did that ƒº I actually really like it in its present form, and wonder if he records it, if he¡¦ll keep it stripped down. The other newer song was great too, it sort of reminded me of a Billy Joel song¡K.taht could¡¦ve just been me¡K.

I also loved ¡§maybe this time¡¨ although a cell phone went off in between and he sort of joked with the person, he went back to business at hand, and it was beautiful. Of course all of his album stuff was great, hearing him sing ¡§Beautiful song¡¨ ¡§Book of Endings¡¨ and ¡§I¡¦m with you¡¨ and ¡§Model Prisoner¡¨ just reinforced my love for his music and those albums.

He of course ended the night with his rendition of Glory and What I did For Love¡K.he had trouble with some of the notes on the latter song and spit on stage¡K.which wasn¡¦t one of his sexiest moments of the night Hehe.

On a side note, Tracie Thoms and Wilson James Heredia were in the audience and were awesome taking pics with everyone, I didn¡¦t get one with Wilson but I did with Tracie. She was very sweet, trying to get in everyone in before she had to leave and even recognized previous fans and people from her fan websites. I didn¡¦t get one with Adam, the line was long and I had to be at work and needed a little bit of a cat nap before I started my shift, but I was jazzed at just being there tonight and getting to see him perform and meeting Tracie was a plus.

Heh, I feel awkward for discussing this but geez, if he's going to put it all out there for the world to hear, it's totally fair game.

Thanks for the review, arapp. You said one of the new songs sounds kind of like a Billy Joel song- which one? Or just a generalized Billy Joel tone? Can't wait to see the pictures, if only to confirm whether it is pineapples or martini glasses.
