I missed when you posted the picture. Very pretty. :)
Chiming in late to say that you look gorgeous in the picture, Lexi. I think that high school graduation is one of the few events in life that isn't overrated at all. And the money that comes along with it is nice! (I once had this theory that you could just send graduation announcements to, like, everyone in the phone book and at least some of the people would just assume they know you and send money anyway.)
I really like your avatar, Chloe.
ha, someone should try that.
Come to think of it, someone probably has.
If I ever pulled a scam, that would be it. Because *technically* you aren't breaking any rules. I, personally, didn't know some of the relatives that ended up getting graduation announcements from me anyway. You could just say that you feel very close to everybody in your community and wanted them ALL to know that you were graduating, or something.
Of course, you'd have to weigh the costs/benefits ratio in terms of how much money you'd spend on annoucnements and postage vs. how much you expected to get back.
...Not that I've thought this out or anything.
Are you sure about that?
That sounds like something my brother would try.

Thanks, girls. You all are really sweet!

I agree! Not that I've technically graduated yet, but I will be so incredibly happy to be out of High School Hell.
Ashley, that's an absolutely hilarious (and brilliant) idea. I received money from my Great Aunt Bertha (that's her actual name...) who I've never met before in my life.
AHHH!!!!!!! I have two papers to write today, a spanish project, physics worksheet, and I have to do something nice for my mom!!!!! I'm going to have no time at all!!!!!
Graduating from high school was one of the happiest days of my life. It was that kind of thing where... is was just true, untainted happiness. My parents tell me how much I smiled that day, and I kind of can't believe it.
I don't wanna leave High School. *clings*
I can't wait to leave High School! I've been ready since freshman year. I can't believe I'm going to be a senior in a few weeks. It seems like just yesterday I was an incoming freshman.

Adam is apparently off the NFL Dad rumored list.
Thank God. I think.
One less project to be hopeful for, but it did irk me that he *said* he wasn't doing it and the geniuses at IMDB kept the information up.

But... what if he was contractually obligated not to say anything?
Shh, don't mess with my head.
The interview had him say straight-up that he wasn't involved. I think if it were contractual, he'd have said something like... that there were projects in the works but that he wasn't allowed to talk about them.
I have very, very mixed feelings about graduating from high school. Before this year, I never wanted to leave. I love my school, I've had great teachers and I have some really close friends I don't want to leave. However, this year has made me totally want to leave. I've enjoyed all of my classes, but the amount of work has been absolutely horrendous (my fault, though). I'm so ready for summer. I don't feel at all ready for college, though. I'm really going to miss parts of high school.
I'm a freshman, but I'm already sick of high school. Three more years...I don't know if I'll be able to handle it. Oy vey.
I think that, whether you think you're going to miss high school or whether you're like, "Let me out of here!", graduation is still exciting. You're celebrating having gotten through 13 years of school already -- that's a big deal! And something to be proud of, regardless of what the future holds. (Ew, it sounds like I'm writing a graduation speech, doesn't it?)

I had enough credits to graduate last year (except for senior English, which I could have taken last summer), but I heard NYU prefers to see people complete four years of high school. I don't know how true that is, but I really wish I would have graduated last year.
Maybe I'll miss parts of high school when I actually get to college, but at this point, I couldn't be more excited to graduate. I really couldn't.
I would've been able to graduate early, but by the time I decided it was something I wanted to seriously consider, it was too late to get all of my state and school requirements in.
YAY! I finally finished everything! Thank god!
Congratulations, Dancinqueen! It must feel really good.
My parents both skipped grades when they were going to school. I think it was more common back then. I can imagine it would create some awkwardness, as iluv said.
Congrats, that's a good feeling.
I finally hung up the poster skittles gave me, that Adam signed at GCU.
Which poster was it? I forget.
It fell again.
Slap it around a little and tell it to behave itself.
