Lexi- I was talking about the video where they're singing "Will I?" in french.
I'm tired, I just posted this in the banal thread. Hah.
He looks...old.
Adam, step away from the fake-tan cream! :-P
I replied in the banal thread. :-p
That's possibly the worst picture of him that I have ever seen.
It's just the lighting. It's just the lighting. It's just the lighting.
Right, everyone looks gray im those shots for some reason.

He definitely has the grandpa look going on there, but I love his shirt (from what I can see). Someone's dressing him...
I still snicker at the fact that Adam and my dad own the same shoes.
AAAAAAH!
....
AAAAAAH!
I...don't like that picture. *whimper*

It's okay, everyone who had their picture taken there had a weird face tone...
You gals make me laugh.
But my real question... What is that guy doing to the left of Adam? LOL
I would guess he's checking to see how his recorder is sounding?
Here's the good and bad news from my check around the net today. The rj productions site which listed an Adam gig for Oct 13 in Bay Shore no longer seems to be in existence, at least as I had it linked. I'll check around to see if they simply have a new site.
The good news is that a-p.com has some new videos up as downloads. Most of them are familiar to me, but there's one that I fell on with cries of glee - well, not exactly, but you get the idea. It's the performance of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by the Rent OBC, which I've never been able to find as just an audio file, let alone a video. (There's been something circulating labeled as such, but it's really a later cast doing the song.)
The bad part of this news, for me anyway, is that the I got an error message saying "the codec used to compress this file is not supported," so it doesn't really play for me. The picture runs slowly and jumpily and there's no sound at all.
I've already left a note for the webmaster asking if there's some way around this, and I'd also like to know if some of you with PCs are able to play it. If so, maybe you can find a way to get it to those of us who can't?
Long Island, I believe.
In the Rent 10 program, Kristen Lee Kelly is listed as Mark's Mom, Allison, and others. How does she play Allison? How does anyone play Allison?
I can't say that I can answer that....
It is in Long Island. South west, I believe.

During Mark's line "pulling Benny out of the East Village location," you will notice in Mark's film that a hand is pulling Benny out of the frame. That is suppose to be Allison. From what I've read, the person playing Mark's Mom usually plays Allison's arm for Mark's film.

The act of graduating and getting out of high school was fun, but the day of my graduation was horrible.
It was June and in DC and it was HUMID, so everyone was miserable. I get there and my grandmother stops me and says "How long did it take you to do your hair?" I told her that I didn't do anything to it, it was so humid that I just left it in the ringlets I woke up with. She continues to annoy me for the next 5 minutes about my hair, asking how long it took me to do it and what I used and why did I do that to myself, because it looks so much better "normal". Finally my mom stopped her and told her it was natural and if she didn't realize that over the past 18 years, it was her own fault. (My grandmother has a long-standing issue with my hair.)
We had to wait out in the hall for 40 minutes in line to go into the main hall to sit down, but I wasn't near any of my friends because we stood in alphabetical order by last name. During the ceremony, someone's cell phone rang off and on for the entire ceremony and despite repeated requests for people to turn off their cell phones, it still kept ringing. A kid I hate gave the speech, the principal I hated gave a speech, the princicpal that left at the end of my junior year that I loved was only allowed to speak for about a minute, and the chairs were too close together, so I couldn't even cross my legs.
After the ceremony, a bunch of my friends and their families were getting together for lunch at a friend of mine's house, but my parents complained about how they wanted that day to be just about our family, so I couldn't go. My dad decided on the restaurant, so we went to Red Lobster- other than being extremely low-brow for the occasion, it was over an hour drive away, so we didn't get there until 2pm and we were all ready to kill each other because we were so hungry.
After that, we went straight to my grandparents' house for dinner, where my grandma cooked a bunch of food I don't eat, they made me put on my cap and gown again for pictures, but it was pouring outside at this point, so I had to stand in front of the coat closet with a stupid balloon my grandparents gave me. I had hinted at wanting one thing for graduation, but my parents got me this cheap, tacky bracelet instead that I don't like and haven't ever worn since. It was an anticlimactic end to my high school career.
Adam needs to do something so I have something to talk about in his thread other than my personal issues.
My graduation ceremony was in November and I had to come home for university for it. I had also broken up (online, I know, I'm a bitch) with my boyfriend a few days before, the poor guy was a wreck. I felt guilty the whole night.
The video of the OBC singing "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" has been on Youtube. I've seen it, the visual isn't really that great, but the audio is alright. They sound good. I've been wanting to see the Standing Ovations Concert video since a long time. I'm glad it's posted.
iluvme2ofen: Is your Adam site down? I've been trying to get to it, but it's not working.
Ugh, I'm really tired. I'm like about to fall asleep while typing this. & I have a ton of work to do
Thanks Angela, I found the youttube. That really is awful quality. I take it the one on the site is the same. Still, I'm glad to finally get to hear the thing.
So that RJ Productions site seems to be gone. I don't know what that means. They had a whole year of bookings listed, and are the agents for a bunch of people like Maureen McGovern. Maybe they're just redoing it.
Nice to see you on the thread, Cassie. Your site is great.
skittles, that sounds absolutely miserable. I'm sorry. But, you turned out alright!
I can understand your feelings, since this is something of a little community, and we tend to forget that other people are reading what we write here too.
That's strange, Alex. I got on it just fine a moment ago.
Had the most amazing day ever! I am scared to death of heights, but I actually enjoyed myself at 6 Flags today. I went on almost every roller coaster there was and I had a blast. And I apparently think about RENT way too much because today one of my friends asked me "What's the time?" I blurted out "Well it's gotta be close to midnight" without even thinking about what I was saying. My friend just stared at me like...something's wrong with you (she's never seen RENT) Sorry, just thought I'd share my awesome day.
That's great, Dancin! Did you go on the big white one?
