Nope. Nor have I seen (or do I intend to see) Crash.
I'm vengeful.
I lost all my baby teeth between the ages of 4 and 8, in rapid succession. My teeth were so crooked from thumb-sucking that when one permanent tooth started to grow in, it was almost like the domino effect. It was bad though, because I was so young, my gums weren't really as ready to lose them even when they were loose, so it was usually bloody. I once lost 2 teeth within an hour.
I never got into thumb-sucking - what's wrong with me?
It's funny, I doubt if I've thought about losing my baby teeth in years and years, but it all comes back. Growing up is kind of messy when you think about it.
I once lost 2 teeth at the same time when I was eating a starburst.

Storytime: Oddest place/experience losing a tooth?
I lost one of my front baby teeth while on a roller coaster as a child...my mouth hit the safety thing as we got flung down a big hill...
I never sucked my thumb, but even as a child yea high, I twirled my hair (which I do to this day)...if its not one bad habit, its another...

Neither did I. I thought it tasted utterly unappealing!
I don't twirl my hair, but I often chew on it. It's an absolutely disgusting habit that I've had forever, although I don't do it around other people.
Is everyone on this thread done with school by now?

nope..one more week, then finals. blahh
I sucked my thumb until an embarassingly advanced age.
I sucked my thumb until I got braces. Because my parents threatened to amputate them if I counteracted all the money they were spending on my teeth.

Speaking of braces, who still wears their retainer? I wear mine once a week at most, although my parents are always on my case about it.
Nah, my last day is the 15th (That's the end of my two finals I take this year, well, three if I count one that's not the same "format").
I sucked my thumb for a bit, and then my mom got this like...jalapeno nail polish stuff and painted my nails with it. I tried to suck my thumb once and never ever did again.
I still sleep in my retainer. I sucked my thumb even with braces, but it was counteracting them, so I had to get a nightbrace. Horror.

That is pretty traumatic, Em. I somehow didn't have to get the headgear, but had to wear braces for three years.

Ha...I haven't worn my retainer in...about a million years...
I used to chew on my hair as well (I really don't know why, but I did)...now I just can't stop playing with it (which is so bad for my hair)
I had headgear as a child...there are pictures of me on my first trip to NYC outside Grease...in my headgear *headdesk*

My siblings and I have never needed braces.
No braces either. I feel so out of it.
I'm off to bed now. I've promised myself to get there a little earlier for a change.
'night!

What's sleep?
My sister is listening to Ashlee Simpson...loudly...and singing along *cries* That is so beyond wrong...
I'm supposed to wear my retainer, but I can't sleep in it because of breathing issues, so I wear it during the day. Usually, however, I'm eating off and on during the day, so I can't wear it then either. I'm basically at the point where I only get around to wearing it when my teeth are noticeable shifting.
I had braces for 4 years. I had heargear, rubberbands (once, I had to have them go *across* the front of my mouth) and this weird contraption that moved back my molars to "adjust my midline" because my upper teeth were all off-center. As terrified as I was about getting my wisdom teeth pulled, the thought of going through all that again was enough to sway me.
My knee still hurts.
I still wear a retainer at night. I think I mentioned on here once getting called a lesbian because it's rainbow...
Interesting ... I have a lower retainer that is glow in the dark rainbow. And here I just thought that made me childish!
