Ok so after driving all over the place and going to way too many stores to count I finally got my cd last night.. Even the Virgin Megastore didn't have it in.. What's up with that?? Every place kept telling me it was supposed to come in but it hadn't yet.. I finally found it in some obscure Borders about 50 miles from where I'm staying..

Atrias, I will see about scanning some of the pictures when I get home..

Brief report on my CD-buying excursion yesterday. I went to Colony first, which specializes in Broadway stuff and sheet music. They had several of the special cover versions out, but only three characters (no Roger) were represented, so I decided to move on. But before I left, they started playing What You Own over their speaker system - yummy.

Then I went to the Times Square Virgin store, where they had about 60 copies prominently displayed in their new releases rack. Couldn't find any Roger's at first, then finally saw three copies buried behind some others. Didn't see any Mark's either, though I didn't look through every single stack. Everyone else was there, I think.

Love the booklet! Chris Columbus' message was great, as others have said. I listened to Love Heals, since it's totally unfamiliar. Nice song and very well produced. They let the women predominate, which seems fair since the men get a lot of songs in the show. Love the soulful feel of the whole thing.
But I haven't listened to anything else - I really want to see the movie without hearing any more of the soundtrack than I already have. Back to work!

Hey guys! I miss you so much! Between my computer crashing, school and rehersal, I barely have time to sleep much less post. Never a dull moment as they say! Hope you're all doing well!

On the Rent soundtrack, I STILL don't have a copy because there was a problem with shipments to this area of Long Island. They don't think they'll be getting them in until this weekend. Isn't that crap?

I think I'm getting a poster from the theatre, eee! OR one of those hanging banner things... whatever you'd need "facets to attach it to". Although I'm almost positive he used the wrong word... I can't figure it out!
