ha, I love it!
I wanted to maybe do something like that. I have to write it in the morning, so I've time to think/collect ideas.
Thank youuu.

Mmm, cake. How to back-up and reformat your computer? You're a pro at that!
gee, thanks, Allie.
God, I had a sudden flashback from a long-ago high school class in which we had to give a speech about how to do something. For some reason, I've never forgotten a girl's speech about how to iron a shirt.
But perhaps that isn't helpful either.
Online is a fair way to deal with the RENT reunion lottery, Elphie.

I feel like I've had to write this type of essay at least three times in the past.
You're welcome, Em! Let us know what you end up choosing.
Thanks, Chloe.
Pick something you really like doing, that'll make it more enjoyable.
How to find tickets to a sold-out event within hours of the performance?
Go team!
Maybe I could do something like... how to buy cheap tickets, or something?
Online lottery sounds good.
hmmm, thinking about how to's
^^^ That's a really useful one!
How long does it have to be? Is it just a list of steps? It sounds like a fun asignment!
Two to three pages!

That's long! So not "How to put on pants", then...
I know! argh.
It seems like you could stretch out the cheap tickets idea to two pages. There's the original line as in RENT, the later lotteries, the half-price booth, TDF, message boards, craigslist... actually, I could see it needing more than three pages.
ETA: and when you're done, maybe you could post it here. I need to know how to do some of this stuff myself.

That's why I'm leaning toward it. There are enough different methods that it'll stretch.

Wow. Yeah, I think that's a good one. And then send it to me, so maybe I can use it when/if I come to NY!
Yay for Allie coming to NY! I'm off to bed, good luck with your essay, Emcee.
Good night!

Sometime, Chloe... I'll get there sometime.
I'm off, too. Psych midterm tomorrow morning, yikes! Psych has totally kicked my ass so far this year.
And there's all the feelings of anticipation and hope and then the relief and excitement at the end - a lot of description that could go there.
I can write about what my best friend calls "the happy ticket feeling."
