I think that one went better. It was so SHORT! Which I kind of dislike, because it makes each question worth more. But whatever, my midterms are OVER. *throws confetti*
Hey chloe, it's been ages.. I've been hiding under a rock.. How have you been??
**pops bottle of bubbly and tosses confetti as well**
Goo Allie!!
I'm fine, just finished up my job and have some free time for a while. Why have you been hiding?
And congratulations, Allie, that's great!

Tonight: I do some cleaning for relaxation purposes, and go to bed early. Sounds like fun, right?

Oh, I definitely will. I'm positively SALIVATING thinking of all that needs to be vacuumed and tidied. And my 5-CD player has been working for me, finally, so I can go all out with the tunes, too. Maybe do my hair up in a kerchief, like in the movies... *dreams*

Maybe you'll talk me into doing some cleaning myself - you'd probably faint if you saw my house right now. You must have some of the cleanest dreams out there, Allie. (pun intended)

I am a weird weirdo, Ellie, and proud of it!
Always happy to inspire others, Chloe!
Tiff, I've broken all ties with King's, and I'm taking a BA at Dal. But since I actually have NO idea what I want to do (journalism turned out to be not for me at ALL), I'm taking kind of a random mix of courses: Psychology, Anthropology (which is turning out to be my favourite so far), English, Theatre, and Italian. And I'm living in an off-campus residence apartment building. I saw the U2 thread about mabel's roommate, and it made me glad that mine moved out. She was CRAZY. We had her dubbed the "roommonster" in here. So I'm alone in a two bedroom apartment, and since it's a res, I don't have to pay for her share!!
Why am I never on when anyone else is?...Anyway, I stole my friend's copy of Premiere magazine and ripped out the Rent ad. It's now living on the front of my math binder.
Hi Tiff - I remember seeing you around this thread a lot when I first stumbled across it, which made me feel like I kind of knew you, which led to me trying to joke around with you in a stupid way, which fell terribly flat. Sorry about that. Anyway, good to see you here again.
Allie, anthropology does sound fascinating, but I know very little about it.
Hi Ellie
Did you really, Chloe?? I don't remember it - and if anyone loves to be teased, it's me! (Just ask Ellie.) No hard feelings, I don't even know what happened. And if anyone knows about jokes falling flat, it's Ellie! (Just as me.)
Allie, are you happy doing it now? I don't think I'll reapply to Kings next year - I'm contemplating Dal - there's a law school, right? Have you done any sociology? It complements Anthro really well.

Methinks Tiff is stalking you, Allie.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.

It is really interesting. We're doing case studies. We just finished our first book, which was on the Ju/'hoansi hunter-gatherer people of the Kalahari Desert. Very fascinating!
Yeah, I'm enjoying it. Not English or Italian as much as I thought I would (and was at the beginning of the year), but Anthro is really grabbing me. I haven't taken any sociology, but I'm kind of interested.
Once we get out of the biology section of Psych, I think I'll enjoy it more. I was really thrown for a loop when my long-time dreams of being a journalist went out the window. So I'm keeping my options open! And yup, Dal has a law school! I don't know ANYTHING about, but I do know know where the Registrar's office is, if you need any help!

Just because studying journalism didn't work out doesn't mean you'll never be a journalist, Allie.
Now you have an array of subjects you'll be able to write about in an informed way!
Hi Atrias, you're actually here at a good time. That Premiere is one of the few RENT-related mags I don't have yet, but I'll get it soon.
Thanks Tiff, that incident is too silly to resurrect. I remember you talking about taking law school exams last year, along with other traumatic events.
Allie, did you ever see a PBS show about the origins of man? I believe it said that the Bushmen (maybe the same or a similar tribe to the one you are studying) are the closest to the first real Homo sapiens in the world.

Thanks, Chloe! I found the article about Taye and Idina very interesting. It said that Taye made Idina change her shoes before they left.
Anthropology sounds interesting, Allie!
*waves*
popping in. SO MUCH WORK.
Whoops, missed your post, Cam. I've been extremely busy myself up until now. Where are your business trips to?
I really can't avoid it anymore. I've done about four days of really high-quality putting off.

You're right, Ellie! I just don't know if I still want to. But I'm young, and I still have plenty of time to make up my mind, right? And if Tiff wanted to stalk me, I don't think it would be that difficult... but I know I can stalk her right back, so I think we're okay.
I haven't seen that one, Chloe, but I bet it would be interesting to watch. Our next case study is on the "Trobrianders of Papua New Guinea". Good stuff.
Maybe you could go clean something, Em. It might put you in the mood.
