Thanks girls! I got there about a quarter to six and was still able to get tickets, but was probably among the last twenty or so. I also entered the premiere lottery. A lot of people seemed to be there just to get the tickets. They were serving very large drinks made out of black vodka and passing around hors d'oevres. I'm still a little light-headed from all that vodka. Whee!
When do they announce the Premiere winners??? I hope you or someone from bww wins!
I'm not sure when they'll announce it, but it'll have to be a couple weeks before the premiere so they can make all the arrangements, so I'm guessing in a couple of weeks from now. Keep in mind that this lottery was done in their other stores, so the odds aren't great.
There's no Bloomingdales in NC. At least not near me, anyway.
You've got just as good a chance as anybody!
OH. I wonder if that's the one with the Q&A with the cast that I heard about. but YAY!
Oooh, cast Q&A?? That would be awesome!

Ooooo, good luck Chloe!!!
Hey Emcee - no Q & A was mentioned on the leaflet, so I doubt it. This screening is at a theater on the east side near Bloomies, but from what someone wrote on the main board, it sounds like the Ziegfeld will also have a screening on the 22nd. Maybe that's the one with the Q & A?
Atrias, your signature cracks me up!
Thanks, Elphie! I got it at Catholic camp last summer!
I'm not sure I get it, Atrias - or is that the point?
You wouldn't get it. You kind of had to be there. I picked for it's randomness. Basically, a comedy group was singing a song about what you'd do for Jesus if you had a million dollars and why. One of the lines was, "I'd buy him a monkey....Jesus always wanted a monkey!" So, yeah. Explained enough?
heh, that's funny!
Ooh, Chloe. Nice new av! How long will this one last?
Fully - thanks! So the randomness is basically the point...
Nice avatar!
Ooh, two Adam avvies in a row! I think I might faint! *swoons*
Someone on LJ used this picture as an avatar, with the beginning of Contact animated over it , "hot, hot, hot, sweat, sweet" etc - very appropriate considering he is kind of sweating.
Er...that's interesting. My mom asked me yesterday how they were going to do the (and I quote) "hot, sticky, wet, trickle song". After staring at her for a good minute, I was finally able to tell her that it had been cut...but my God, my mother is turning into a RENThead!
That's funny, Atrias! I love "hot, sticky, wet, trickle."
