*patpat* You'll find some! I did...nothing this evening. My grandma came over, we ate Chinese food, and Dad has stolen the tv to watch the World Series. Oh, and I cleaned my room! Woohoo!
I need a haircut! Atrias, care to do the honors? :-P

Hooray! You cleaned your room! Was it fun? Oh, I bet it was fun. *is jealous* Sometimes I like to clean by making a huge mess and pulling everything out into the middle of the floor... and then I can sort through it and put it back, all wonderful and tidy. FUUUUN!
I would love some Chinese food right about now. What'd you have? *salivates*
Allie...*headdesk* No, it wasn't exactly fun. We had sweet and sour chicken, black pepper scallops, fried rice, steamed dumplings, and hot and sour soup. Want some leftovers?
*holds out hair* READY!! Can you do layers?
Ooh! I started cleaning my room today! It's just awful. But I only got a little bit done ebcause I decided I wanted to listen to ttB and play dressup with my sister.
Heheh. I was lip-syncing to Rent as I cleaned my room!
*holds out shears* I'll do my best, Elphie! *cut*

That's the best part about cleaning, you guys! I put on some dance-able music and just go to it. And for the record? EVERYTHING is dance-able when you're cleaning!
*blushes* I was doing "Out Tonight" dancing...provocatively.
Oh, and I want at least 4 inches off.
Hah, SO true, Allie! But I was too lazy to bring the cd pkayer into my room. :-/ And dressup was much more fun that cleaning!

No need to be embarrassed, Atrias. Think of how much fun I get to have cleaning and dancing... I have a whole apartment to myself.
*cuts Elphie's hair with one hand and rustles up Chinese for Allie with the other*
Dancing was fun, especially as I'm discovering that my ballet training didn't all go to waste!

Yum. I may actually to get some Chinese tomorrow. Now if I could only find the take-out menus!
Whenever I want to feel like a "dancer" I have to break out Elegance from Hello, Dolly... sadly, that's the only dance I know! Oh, and can 1-2-3 with the best of them from Dancing (can you tell the only real show I've done is Hello, Dolly?).
Well, better than My Fair Lady Sushi. That's the only "real" show I've done.

My Fair Lady Sushi? *slightly confused*
I'm often tempted to make a cleaning soundtrack and give it out to friends. I think it could be a good way to make cleaning more fun. I don't have, well, ANY friends who enjoy it like I do!
It was My Fair Lady...but with about an hour of dialogue taken out. No joke. It was all chopped up, hence...sushi. Not to mention having to teach 15 13 year old boys to dance.
Yikes, Atrias! That sounds scary.
*examines self in mirror* It looks good!

Oh, haha, I get it! I've tried to teach ONE 13 year old boy to dance... not pleasant. I'm glad you survived that experience!
My hair next, Atrias? I'm ready to shave it all off, I swear! GAAAAHHHH!!
*nods* I learned a thing or two from my hair stylist/colorist yesterday.

My hair stylist didn't do such a nice job last time. Thankfully, it's growing! Almost ready to be fixed. Oooh, did you get your hair coloured yesterday? What does it look like? You know, I've never dyed my hair! Not even temporarily.
Me neither, Allie!
But, I am seriously considering getting contacts, which would be a BIG step for me.
I always get my hair dyed red. It manages to look natural because of my skin tone. It won't for a couple of days, though,it's very dark right now.

I hope you like them, Elphie! Contacts changed my life! I ran out last month, so I've been wearing my glasses, and I can't WAIT to get some more. They were a little difficult to get in and out at first (I had to get my mom to put them in for me every morning!), but once I got the hang of it, I could pop them in and out like nobody's business. You'll wonder how you ever wore such dirty glasses! Your eyesight is so much more clear. And best of all, winter's coming up, and you won't have to deal with your glasses fogging up when you step inside!
Yeah, my main problem is that I HATE touching my eyes or putting things in them. So that part is going to be tough. But, lately I've realized that I look MUCH better without my glasses, so hopefully it will be worth it. I'd like to get them before my trip to NYC, so any pictures I take will make me happy, but I don't know if that will happen.
Contacts are fantastic! They made my life so much better, and I got over my eye-touching phobia in about a week.
