My friends are going to NY in a couple of weeks on a trip put on by the music department at their university (*grumbles*), and I'm trying to make a little word document with some fun trivia, since they're not really huge theatre fans. Well, they enjoy theatre, but don't know much about Broadway or any actors or anything. They're going to see The Producers, so I'm starting with some stuff about that, and what other theatres are in the direct area, so they'll know what to expect (and know when to get the camera ready for me). It's kind of fun looking stuff up!

I wish they could! And I think they wish they could, too. I'd totally get caught, though, because I'd be babbling away from inside the suitcase, hehe.

No, I'm living vicariously through them this time around. I'm just hoping they fall in love with the city and will come with me whenever I get to go!

Hi girls - found something exciting just now. Starz will be showing an "On the Set" 15-minute feature on RENT in November. The post I saw was saying the first one is 11/1, but that didn't check out on the Starz site. Tivo.com was putting the first one at 10:30am on 11/4 (Fri) on the east coast, but I was unable to verify on Starz, as the site was down when I went back to it. Probably from all the RENTheads checking it out!

Fortunately I get Starz and will be taping this. Though I have no way of getting it online, it's hard to believe it won't end up there by Friday night. I bet there'll be more features like this on other stations too.

Are you saying that neither you nor your parents get cable or satellite, Emcee?

It's nice to feel loved! I usually tape SVHS format, but I suppose most people don't have a Super VCR, so I guess I should get some regular VHS tapes.

The AA theatre has a stage door, but it's common for the actors to come out through the lobby. And trying to predict which way Adam will go is like the world's biggest crapshoot.

Okay - I'll be literally in the front row tomorrow night, and I'll also look for you on line at the theater.

Allie, I don't mind making you a tape too, if you're all right with sending me your address at some point. (This is all assuming my rickety old VCR continues to function, and I succeed with programming it in advance. Some of the airings are in the middle of the night.)
