Wait, are we talking cartoon-show Flinstones here? Because that is NOT the same Wilma I have seen.

O my! I can't get over that it's in three weeks! Time really flies. It was just recently that it felt far away. It's really creeping up.

Happy Anniversary, Allie, it's nice to see the lumberjack again.

And it was great talking with Emcee and Undi for a bit before the concert on Monday.

*joins the bouncing* My dilemma is whether or not to wait until Friday to go see it with my two best friends who are coming to visit... If I go opening night, it will either be alone, or with some people I don't really know. I'd rather see it with my friends, but I don't know if I can wait!

I am definitely going opening night/day/whatever! I don't care if I'm the only one in the theatre and I look like a loser! But I won't because I'm going with at least one friend on opening day/nigh. I'm sure I will be going multiple times that weekend. Promotional Tour I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I'm planning on seeing it alone (more or less) first, then with friends whenever they can make it. When I'm alone I can completely focus on the film, but when I'm with other people I'm aware of their reactions and tend to see it through their eyes more.

That's an interesting point, Chloe. I didn't really think about that. But sitll, I'll want to see it with someone, probably, because I'll need someone to share my excitement with!

I still have some time to decide!

I should take a trip down to the theatre this afternoon and see if they have any posters or anything I can stick my name on. Promotional Tour I still don't have one!

My personal victory with this Rent movie has been getting my 13 year old brother interested and EXCITED about it. We've already made plans to see it together.

This time on the 23rd, I think we'll all look like this: Promotional TourPromotional TourPromotional TourPromotional TourPromotional Tour *fidgets*

Chloe, that's an excellent point. Last year, I took to seeing movies alone, and although I was made fun of a bit (you couldn't find ANYBODY to go with you??), I really enjoyed the experience. You can sort of process everything in your head, and you don't have to talk about it right away.

It was tough! He's an aspiring guitarist and rockstar, so that aspect of the story kind of grabbed his attention. And he's definitely a closet Adam Pascal fan, hehe. He'd never admit it, though!

I have a feeling there are a lot of closet Adam fans - maybe they'll come out a little after the movie opens.

I'm something of a loner, so used to seeing things by myself, but I can see how it would be odd to a lot of people.

I'm going to the benefite screening, as of now alone, but hopefully, a friend will be able to join me. (I might not be allowed to go if I don't have someone to go with.) I want someone to share the excitement with, but at the same time, I don't want to see it with my friends for the first time who aren't so invested in it because I don't want to be worrying about what they think and then hear any possible complaints right afterwards. Hopefully the screening will be a good place to see it with an appreciative audience.

Neither of my friends have seen the show, but they know quite a bit of the music... and they're taking the bus here from their university just to see the movie with me (aww, I love them so much), which is kind of why I'd like to wait to see it with them.

Ugh, I still have time to figure it out! It's not a big deal, even though it feels like it at the moment.

I don't know what I want to do. I've made *very* tentative plans because people are like "I WANNA SEE IT WITH YOU WE LOVE YOU!!!" and okay that's nice. It's flattering, I won't lie. But... it's hard. The first time, I want to see it with people of my choosing, not people who invite themselves along (I'm not talking about any of you, fear not!) and put this odd claim on me, because I know that they'll respect the way in which I want to experience the movie for the first time. In peace. My brother wants to come along, too, but I doubt my parents will let him. I just... I don't want to be with people who, the entire time are going to poke and prod at each other and go "OMG HOW AMAZING?!??!?" and tell me how cute it is that I'm crying, or something. I sort of want to be able to be alone with my thoughts and all that jazz. I don't think I'm going to be ready to talk about it right away. I think at some point, it will be fun to see with a huge group of BWW people who I'm acquianted with and to really just have fun with it, but not the first time.

Because of the "OMG HOW AMAZING" factor, I'm a little worried about seeing it in a theatre of rentheads. I don't want them to be commenting or doing anything to audibly the first time. If people start talking, I know that will distract me and that will make me really upset. Later it will able to be a fun, perhaps chatty experience, but not yet. At the same time, I'm excited about the Q&A and also about seeing it in that theatre instead of in a crappy movie theatre. For the same reasons though, I don't want to read any reviews or the nitpicky stuff that will go on here (like what happened RIGHT after the clip on Leno) much until I've composed my thoughts.
