So you *did* go, Em! Cool.
Yeah, I was able to get a wristband after class.
Yay.
That thread about the signing today makes me smile. I wish the girl to whom Adam told funny stories about Cabaret had been a little more talkative herself though.

I wish we had animated avatars here on BWW. I totally just stole this from LiveJournal...
Here's a link to where I got it, so I don't feel guilty
I saw that. Some of them are really disturbing, but that is just FUNNY.

The signing last night was... interesting. It was actually kind of fun, even though I was at the bum end of the line, last gorup to get in.
Adam looked awesome. And he was very nice.
OH boy! that avatar is hilarious. ...and I'm so jealous of those who got to go to the signing. sigh. hehe
oh I just wanted to respond to your quote dancingthrulife:
(you may say im a dreamer)..but im not the only one.
yes i know there was no point for it..but I enjoy the last bit.

one week from today!!!

You've probably all seen the "Rent preview clip" thread on the main board, but I thought I'd mention it. It didn't play very well for me, but there were some new interviews worth seeing.
Also, Rent has been reviewed on Ain't It Cool News, not the most friendly site for this kind of movie, as the majority of posters are guys who wouldn't be caught dead at a musical. So I was happy to see a rave review from someone who writes somewhat in Emcee's style. It's a very personal reaction, long and rambling (actually quite a bit more rambling than Emcee is). I found it quite fascinating.
(There's a second, less favorable review after it which I haven't read yet.)
AICN
I can't play the video at all.
YAY! The trailer with the review snippets came on again!!

Em, can I thread jack again? My kids and I were wondering what does lines does Mr. Rapp sing on Love Heals? Thanks and much love to all!!!
That surprises me - usually it would be the other way around. I think it said you need Real Player 8, if that's any help. What Adam said, evidently in answer to a question about feeling pressure, was that his main concern was whether the show would work as a movie and whether they would be able to do it correctly. He said he had complete confidence in everyone as individuals, but was concerned about the show as a whole.
It looked to me like they taped this around the time of that benefit in LA - the very blond Adam version.
You know, I don't think he HAS a line of his own.
Anybody else know?
He sings a line with Idina. I'm pretty sure that's it, but I'm not sure which one.

Mark and Mimi sign "When life's unfair. When things like us are not to be". I think that's it.
Maybe he does some of the improv at the end - it's hard for me to tell who's singing what there.

The seven and ten year olds thought no solo line.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Much love to next week. I will see the movie with my wife and three sisters!
I hope you love it!
