Posted: 11/18/05 at 8:20amI can't find the thread on the main board where someone reminded the RENTer's to get the newspapers that carry the weekend Life Magazine, so I'll post here in case one of you knows which thread it was in. Don't bother searching today. I stopped at a store up near where I work this morning to check it out, and the cover today is for Harry Potter, which makes sense since they opened today. Maybe next Friday?

Posted: 11/18/05 at 9:31amI was kind of excited at the first mention of Rent in my newspaper. Every Friday, they put the movie times for all the theatres in the area, for the next seven days. Of course, the first page of the entertainment section was a colour picture from Harry Potter, but I turned the page, and WHAM. La Vie Boheme! *cuts out and saves*

Oh my goodness, Allie! I did that, too! I was fipping through the section, and all of a sudden I see Anthony and Idina during LVB. My heart skipped a beat. I wasn't expecting that.

I love coming home everyday and seeing tha my Tivo recorded something new that's Rent related . Oh crap. It's getting late, I have to go get ready for my show! Love you all and love to Adam (who I have a picture of on stage for good luck, I kid you not.)

Posted: 11/18/05 at 5:07pmHey, new fangirl here! I've been lurking here for a little while, and I finally mustered up the courage to post. Anyway, I saw Rent on Broadway about a month ago (I was familiar with Seasons Of Love and Light My Candle beforehand, and I was aware that a movie was being released, but that was about the extent of my knowledge until one of my extracurricular clubs decided to buy tickets for all of us to go see it), and was just blown away by the power of the music. I immediately went and bought the OBCR, and then got the movie soundtrack a couple of days later. I started looking for more information about the movie, and somehow found and downloaded a video of Adam and Anthony performing What You Own on the Today Show. Well, that was it for me. I was now an Adam Pascal fangirl. I picked up Model Prisoner and Civilian at Tower Records after seeing the blog entry where he mentioned having a solo album, and they've been in heavy rotation on my iPod ever since.

I was so exicited when RENT was mentioned in my paper too. But no picture 
They just had a little thing about movies coming out over the holiday season and there was a paragraoh about RENT. You'd think if it was in my paper, it'd be playing in the theaters, but nooooo. Sorry, I'm still mad about this.

Just hanging out. My sister's here visiting for the weekend. We did some Christmas shopping downtown this afternoon, and then ate Chinese food and watched three Christmas movies in a row. I am BEAT, but it was a fun day.
Tomorrow, we're heading to the mall to finish up our shopping, then bundling up and going to the big Christmas parade, followed by a party at her boyfriend's place. Whew! So if I don't return until late Sunday evening... I was sleeping.

His kids are so adorable. Is the kid in the above picture Lennon, then? I can't help but notice that his eyelashes are the same shape as Adam's. What a beautiful family.
Mmmmm Chinese. I had Chinese food for dinner tonight, too. A Christmas parade in November? lol, that's early!
