Nevermind, I just read about it. My goodness! Adam IS quite the character. It belies his 35 years. The Year of Anticipation

though it's of no consequence to anyone, i might not get to see it until next week. the joy of living in the real world.

It *is* a lot of money, I'll admit, but didn't it go to Friends in Deed or something?

well I got the lotto tickets ($20) and before tonight I went to a free screening, so I figure it evens itself out. and the night raised around $45,000 for friends in deed.

I find it ridiculous that the counter says 7 minutes. RIDICULOUS.

I want to see what happens. I may cry when it says 0.

Well, I justify what I did tonight on two grounds:

(a) The first time I saw it WAS free, so by virtue of not paying for that, I have some extra money. Movies in New York City cost $12 as it is. Plus, it wasn't *just* the movie. I wouldn't pay that much money JUST to watch the movie. The cast talked for like 45 minutes after, and a lot of it was stuff very different from the interviews.

(b) It's for a good cause. And an important one. And one that I care about.

My counter froze at zero; it's like counting down to midnight!

I thought he was HYSTERICAL. He has no shame, and a really, really DIRTY sense of humor. He can ham it up when he wants to.

He was just Mr. Enthusiasm tonight!
