Okay, now I'm bummed about what the Rent movie could have been. I was so happy with it before, but knowing that Roger sex scenes could have been in it definitely changes things!

That's very frustrating. It would have had to be part of the OSG flashback, I guess, and therefore quite short, so it's hard to see how it might end up on the DVD, unless there's some kind of little featurette about paths not taken - rehearsing Contact, the decision to leave out Christmas Bells, and so forth. But how I would love to see it.

I'll need to have my oxygen tank ready.

It is probably very short, so probably not all that graphic, but stillll.... how my head would explode.

OR - TMOLM could have been a flashback scene - flashing back to them having sex.

Thinking about the whole April flashback thing, there was an inherent problem right from the start, in that OSG just isn't long enough to encompass it, especially since I don't think it would be a good idea to not see him singing the second half of the song.

What I could see working would be going into the flashback before the song starts, then referring back to it a little during the song.

By the way, a friend of mine who just saw the movie but was somewhat unfamiliar with the show said he thought it would have been better to indicate the April committed suicide and Roger found her. He was a little unsympathetic to Roger's attitude until I told him about that.

I felt awkward, too...because - in a way - I was enjoying it. Not teh whole rape thing, but...you know.

The earlier script just had sex all over the place.

I meant the Marc/Idina scene, BSo. They were singing!
