"Siamese ... you're from North Dakota? Yes! Now I just have meet the other 6 people there and I'll know them all! (J/k)"
Heh! Yes, I am, although I haven't lived here my whole life. I'll be in NYC this fall for college, thank God.
Mandi, regarding your French assignment: You should try it! My composition teacher has become really lazy, so guess what our final is? Write a two-page movie review. Basically, I get to ramble about Rent for a couple pages and call it my final. Pretty cool, right?
One of my English assignments last semester was a movie review. I reviewed Rent, but it backfired. I thought I would write a kick-ass paper because it was something that meant a lot to me, but having to squeeze everything I wanted to say into something close to the allotted length caused me to do a terrible editing job, and I tried so hard to keep blunt emotion out of it that it became sort of dry. I didn't do too well.
ETA -- that's okay, Mel.
aww, i hope i get to write about rent one day

Ack, Em, don't make me nervous! Heh. Yeah, I'm a bit afraid that I have so many scattered ideas about the film that it won't come together nicely. Sorry to hear about what happened to your paper, though.
Yuck, I have lots of homework tonight. The reality of school is creeping up on me again. Not fun.
dirty sanchez haha, brings back some great memories from august
What I want to know is why he always bites teddy bear's ears!

I just visualized all of his kid's teddy bears with missing ears.
Thanks for posting that pic, Mel! I hadn't seen it before. Damn, Adam is just gorgeous.
The whole "write what you know" mantra - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I wrote a great essay last year based largely on my frustration with my roommate's partying, but another essay I wrote about the role the Internet plays in my life was a nightmare - I spent most of spring break pulling my hair out over that one.

Okay, I swear that his teeth are too perfect not to be some sort of veneers. Heh.
He could eat that little bear whole!
And probably a little violent toward innocent teddies!

Isn't there some childhood pic of him floating around out there?
Em, that pic kind of disturbs me as I had an EXACT copy of that bear as a child (sans the clothes, of course) that I carried around everywhere and was essentially my security blanket.
haha ... the pics from that site are so much fun. the pics in the talk show section are all older ... coughcough do old videos exist?

Yeah, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but if you write what you know, confidence is a lot more detectable in your tone.
I see dark rooooots.
speaking of doogie and adam...
