o yay i cant wait to see the catfight!!
I'd hardly call it a catfight...
we should have an "Adam's Arms" party too!
Crap. My mother FINALLY told me when she wants to see Rent (Will's last day) and the show is virtually sold out. Damn it.
I'm trying to convince my dad to take me to see RENT in March as an early b-day present...$70 orchestra seats should be able to convince him, hehe. But he already spent a lot on 4 tickets to see Sweeney Todd in February, so I'm not sure. Psh, parents.
My mom LOVES Will, but ultimately she could probably care less who she sees, because she's sort of doing this to shut me up. I guess we can push it back and I can pray on everything that I win the lottery so I can see Will.
I'm home , and Em, you've had four days head start so you better finish unpacking before me.
Before I saw Rent for the first time I heard Goodbye Love was cut, then I was really excited when it started, then they cut it and I was sad again. I'm very excited for the DVD.
Convincing my parents to take me to see Rent would be very hard. Seeing as how it would take a day trip just to get to New York.
It'll take me about a month to unpack.
Ah, competitive high schools. People at my school were pretty intense about grades, and some people in my graduating class got really pissed that the salutatorian was someone who had transferred to our school as a sophomore and had lots of 99s on his transcript from the much easier school he attended as a freshman. There wasn't much separating the top students in terms of averages - I had a 97 average and finished 5th in my class, and one of my friends had a 93.6 (I think) and was outside of the top 25 (they only ranked the top 10%)- and I think the median average was 90. Even though all of our classes showed up on our transcripts as honors-level courses, there wasn't any numerical weighting - I think they started multiplying grades in AP classes by 1.1 the year after I graduated, and even though there was no rational reason for that to bother me, I was upset that I didn't get that.
"It's so competitive that when my brother was a senior (he's a freshman in college now), he saw students wearing shirts from colleges they weren't interested in to throw people off."
That's scary, yet absurdly brilliant at the same time.
"Be prepared, because we'll probably pause every few seconds if Adam and/or Anthony make really cute faces."
Heh, I can totally see myself doing that when I get the DVD. "Ooh, gotta pause for a second to admire Adam's eyelashes! Oh, wait, they look pretty in this shot, too. Hey, how come it took me 5 hours to watch a 135-minute movie?"
I don't think I ever really finish unpacking. When I moved out of my dorm at the end of last year, a couple of things were still in the boxes I brought them in on move-in day.
heh, I still have boxes, too.
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to moving back home at the end of the year. I've got a lot of stuff for such a small room here. Fortunately for now I'm on an organizing kick, we'll see how long it lasts.
Just followed the news link to That's Kentertainment ... rent stuff I haven't seen before!
The beginning of the clip is adam/anthony/tracie/wilson introducing the show (lots of bloopers!) and then about 12 min in after Bea Arthur is Red Carpet interviews I hadn't seen before.
Fun surprise for the day :)

Yay, I can watch this while I wait ten minutes for the water in my shower to heat up.
haha boy do I know that feeling. And luckily only me takes showers here cause I can't get through one with hot water.
Adam and Anthony wishing me a happy holiday?
*faints*
Cute video.
Cute video.
Cute video.
wishing you a happy holiday several times cause they wanted it to be JUST RIGHT. :)
I like when Adam waves and blows kisses to his old friend in the middle of his interview, too.
Adam waves at everything that walks.
Adam can wave to me any time.

On the Kentertainment video... I'm just watching the whole thing. In the beginning, after the Happy Holidays thing, Ken does a parody of the Hung Up Madonna video.
Oh! I had no idea what he was doing in that part!
